  1. Okay I made these yesterday and barely could wait until I burned them. It has been 24 hours, cold throw is awesome with this wax. I poured GL Hawaiin Breeze (yellow one) at 1.5 oz pp and Country Berry Hotcakes at 1.5 oz pp. The wax set up beautifully no repour (I forgot to take a pic before burning) It also colored beautifully, bright brilliant colors. Hot throw was excellent. I had the CBH sitting in my masterbath and it was scenting my bathroom, bedroom and drifting into the living room. I had the HB sitting on my kitchen counter and it was scenting my kitchen and drifting into the den and dining room wasn't a strong powerful headache throw but it was creeping everywhere scenting the rooms nicely. I have an open floorplan. It wicks very easily also. These are the 8 oz square masons with an Eco-8. I am going to try and hold off of burning again for a couple more days and see what it does to the scent throw since it does have 70% soy. So far, I am happy. I have only used para/soy blends that always had about 75% para rather than soy.

Forgot to add, slight hangup with the CBH but that was the first burn so I know it will most likely catch up. Also there is a spot of soot on the CBH one but that was from the lighter not the candle. These are pics right at 3 hours and 10 minutes burn time.

  2. What wick size would you recommend to start testing with on the Comfort Blend. I will most likely mix it with a little soy about 25-30% to cut down on soot. I am going to try it in an 8 oz square mason (3 inch widest diameter)and compare it to the 6006 and the 70/30 from Greenleaf. Should I start with an HTP105 or 126. I also have LX, CD, Performa, and Eco samples too. Just need a starting point.

  3. This is my 2nd attempt at photo embedding but my very first hurricane with all the correct stuff (wick, mold, etc) I tried to get a picture of it lit but it would not come out. It was beautiful though. The whole thing glowed from bottom to top. I am proud of myself. this is a square hurricane. Pardon the pillow behind it but the background was too white so you couldn't see the actual candle part of it. It was just blending in. Thanks Donita and everybody that has answered my questions on these hurricanes.

I finally got a good pic of the hurricane being lit.

  4. I have poured Baked Apple Pie and Orange Vanilla and of course Maduro again. Orange Vanilla was in 6006 and the other two were in GL perfect blend.

    All 8 oz square mason

Maduro-1 oz pp Eco-10 did really well. It was perfect on the scent throw. Not to strong. (you don't want this fo too strong) My father is going to test this one in their house when I get another poured they have a very open and large living room, dining room, and kitchen and I want to see how this baby does in their house.

Baked Apple Pie--1.50 oz pp. This one wasn't as strong as I thought it should but I might have had candle nose. I am going to make another one and give to my friend that loves Apple Pie and get her to test it.

Orange Vanilla--1.25 pp in the 6006. I got a fuel smell bad but I am going to cut back because it was very strong thrower.

Will post more when I get some poured. Overall I am really enjoying Brenda's oils and wax.
