  1. Kaboose.com has crafts for every holiday and I'm pretty sure they have an option you can put what type of supplies you have on hand and it will come up with a list of crafts that you could do.
  2. Love the clamshells, they are so nice. I wish I could of ordered some. Label wise it would look nice with it a bit bigger with the ends sticking out a bit.
  3. When I used 6006, I always had to do a double pour. You might also try a CD wick instead of Zinc. I used both in mine when I tested, and liked the CDs better.
  4. Really?? The nerve of some people. I get you though, now we can sell in peace.
  5. I've been wanting to try those jars for awhile now but haven't because of them not having lids.. That's Great.. I can't wait.
  6. You have to check out their new Clamshells, they are so cute. I'm not all into the Scentsy thing, but I did check on their site the other day because I saw someone saying something about their new clamshells and low and behold their shaped like a container candle..
  7. I've been following this thread since the beginning and my question is how much would you sell them for? I know it would depend on what you packaged them in but honestly what are they selling for? I was going to wait till my candle room is done but since I have some table salt and epsom salt I might as well play around with it.
  8. I just started pulling out my Spring/Summer scents but customers are still ordering some Fall/Winter scents. Mostly the ones that I carry all year long but I'm sick of pouring them. I never thought that Spiced Apples and Peaches would gag me but if I have to pour it again I probably will puke.
  9. I like Candle Science but already have most of their scents and the new ones aren't that appealing to me but thank you for suggesting them.
  10. Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I so want to try Elements new fragrances but it would cost me $29 something for (10) 1 oz FO's plus $12 for shipping. I just couldn't pay $41 for samples. Plus I couldn't find anything else there for me to buy to make the shipping worth paying. Bummer
  11. No it's not close at all, I have both and they are very different.
  12. Mysterious, I'm really not good at naming things. I usually just keep the names.
  13. You also have to factor in that this is a home party plan so they probably bump the product up to double their profit so that the reps can make a profit to.
  14. Oh, I thought they were new in Walmart. Just goes to show how much I pay attention. I can barely sell them and they only had 4 left. Maybe that's a good thing they sell them then when they get a handpoured one they'll go crazy. Well at least you guys lifted my spirits, I was really bummed there for awhile.
  15. They all look really nice but I wouldn't put a label on the 2nd jar, maybe on the lid though. I know your not sure about the labels but you should stick to one or the other unless you are going for 2 different style markets.
  16. When I was looking through Walmarts candle section I noticed they had Clamshell tarts for $2.00. How can I compete with that? I bought one because I wanted to compare throw, since I can't compare in price. Of course they are worth $2.00 not much scent, I smelled a tiny bit of scent but that's only if I stuck my nose right on top of the warmer. I am so bummed..
  17. I'm guessing their custom made because I have scoured the internet and have yet to find them.
  18. I just counted it, there are 6 cubes, 3 across so there are 18 cubes. http://www.Foreveryhome.net They are just way to cute and well I have never seen them before.
  19. I was looking at the direct sales businesses and one of them had a neat Clamshell that had 7 cubes on the side. I couldn't see how many each clamshell held because of the picture but it held 7.9 oz. Has anybody seen anything like this?
  20. I received my order, the white citurs is very light but then again I haven't put it into wax or anything yet. When I do I'll update.
  21. If you don't want to do craft shows because of the carrying then you don't want to do home parties. Cash and Carry is the best for home parties for me. I might get the occassional order or two for scents that I didn't bring but I sell more cash and carry items. Even with wholesale you will have deliver products to the place unless you get someone to deliver the stuff for you. There is a lot of lifting and stuff with this type of business, if your seriously into it then I suggest get someone that will help you with the lifting part.
  22. I bought a sample of it, I can't wait to compare and put it in some wax. I love B&BW stuff.
  23. I liked some of their oils the majority didn't do well in my wax. I wish they would have (edited) per pound sale again though. Everytime they offered it I didn't have the funds to buy anything. I really would like to stock up on the scents that did perform well. But of course now that I do have money they aren't having any kind of sale.
