  1. I'm wondering if these are the same ones that peak or candle science use? Does anybody know?
  2. It's not as easy to just order you have to do paper work make sure they ship how they ship, etc... It's a PIA.
  3. I did a search read through all the pourrette posts and didn't see anything about who makes them now.
  4. Thanks Johnna, I wish OBI would carry those maybe we should all ask them to. The Rooster one is similar but not the same from JD Wholesale http://www.jdwholesale.com/Candle-Warmers-s/4.htm
  5. Those are really nice candle warmers, haven't seen them from any supplier. Who is the manufactuer?
  6. When I clicked catalogs that's where I saw it. I'm not good with links or I would post it.
  7. Children have been making candles for years, as long as they have assistace then there shouldn't be a problem. I remember making a dipped tapered candles when I was a brownie, also made some candles using a milk carton as a mold.
  8. It's a Libbey Glass that I'm sure they got frosted. Not sure if Libbey offers that service.
  9. Wondering if anybody has contacted OBI to confirm if they ordered from this company? Or if anyone ever got product that was offered by this company by OBI?
  10. I sell the same old ones year after year.. I want to add some new ones but I know that my customers are so finicky. So far these are my best sellers by far: Apple Blackberry Brulee (I mix my own) Cotton Candy Lemongrass Love Spell Marshmallow Honey Dew Melon Sage & Citrus So what are yours? Do you pour the same old scents too? I only make candles.
  11. Thanks Stella, I have alot on my mind not thinking straight right now.. Sorry Steve, I guess I didn't look..
  12. Just wondering what the width of the 18 oz and the 12 oz are? Yes, I emailed them nope no response yet probably will tomorrow but I can't wait..
  13. I wonder if you they would ship it if you didn't live near them?? They would have to I'm guessing.. I guess I can stick with my regular supplier with my container wax it's pretty cheap but now I have to find a new Tart wax because the prices I pay aren't going to work out for what I have in mind unless the supplier would make a deal with me, ha ha..
  14. I hope they changed, I don't have a truck. That's neat that you used to do that for them.. Thank you
  15. I've tried to get a hold of the guy at Golden Brands by email with no success my next try will be by phone but in the mean time I though I would ask here. Does anyone know what the minimum amount you would have to buy and how much it is? You could pm me if you would like.. I'm interested in the 415, 416, and 435 if you have those prices.. Or if you could just give me a general idea.. I have been looking to buy wax in bulk recently and noticed on the NGI site that it would be cheaper for me to buy from a regular candle supplier than ordering from them right now. So I'm wondering if it's the same with GB.. I've been working with GB products for years but I was considering on changing waxes to make it more affordable. Thank you
  16. Thank you.. I searched for the wax on the site and there wasn't much info on it.. Does anyone have any opinions on this?
  17. I would like to test this to see if I like it or not. Doesn't matter where, just want to try it before I buy from GB.. Thank you
  18. I'm wanting to make a candle like Partylite used to make the long big 3 or 4 wicked candles. Not the shorter ones the long ones.
  19. BUMP, wanting to see if anyone has done this yet??
  20. I don't think of them as competition anymore.. The products are over priced and it's more for a party atmosphere not an every day used product to me. I've even had customers tell me I only use Scentsy when I've been at a party and had to order something.. Can I use your tarts in my warmer?? Something else to think about too. These people are motivated, they're only getting a percentage. Not the full profit like we do but they love their product and their willing to do anything to get their name out to get more business. If anything seeing them should make us more motivated to do more for our businesses..
  21. Stella those are great pointers and candle man that's a great idea. I will turn it off completly and let it sit for a few min. till I pour... I do agree that I shouldn't of thrown it out the window, although my back yard is empty you never know if there might of been a toy or something out there and it could of caught fire.
  22. I mix my FO and dye in another container, I only use the presto pot to melt the wax. Before I pour out the wax, everything gets unplugged.. Well just a warning, hope this never happens to you..
  23. Hello, I've searched high/low and can't find them anywhere.. I have so much wasted shrink wrap from the 4X6 ones that I'm looking for smaller ones like a 3X whatever as long as it's smaller than a 4X6 one. Thanks
  24. Inside the bottom of the pot. I have a candle area in my basement and when I pour I open the window. So I had enough time to open the screen and throw it out in the rain..
