You add this at the end. Use sparingly to see how thick you like it. I made the mistake once and just added the 2%, I got really thick goop! Suggested usage is up to 2%. HTH

You can use citric acid in its place but it is much harder to work with. It will make your product more like a bath bomb that bubbles.
