When we moved into our new house several years ago, we painted out honey cabinets, bright white and also all of the woodwork (baseboards, crown moulding etc.) anyway, I did not make candles at this time, but burned 2 yankee candles daily. I started to wash my new pretty white cabinets one day after living there about 3 months, the water I used turned gray and their were grey streaks all over everything! Even in freezer on the ice bin! Now check this out, that is what made me want to start making clean burning candles. I thought, what the heck is my 2 year old breathing in? What are we breathing? So started making soy candles. Now, I have been making soy candles for 4 years and the new house we are in now (1 year now) is starting to get the grey streaks on blinds and even the white kitchen television. We had electric heat at the first hosue and gas at this one. What gives?
