  2. Ok question says it all...has anyone used spiritcrafts.net lately to order anything? I'm having somewhat of a uncomfortable time with them. They haven't answered email or phone calls. 3. I used ylan ylan. I know the colors don't match the fragrance but I just have somewhat of an eclectic taste when it comes to candles. And I say that in a very humble way I don't want to sounds like an ass! ha ha Dan

  7. Hello everyone! I am new to the forum and fairly new to candle making. I have been making candles since the beginning of this year. Since I can remember I have always loved making things it doesn't matter what, sometimes is just silly stuff that I just had to make at least once to have an understanding on how it worked. From RC airplanes to bows and arrows and now to candles. Since I have tried many hobbies I have always found a lot of people with the same interest locally and throughout the web. An a lot of suppliers and the like... But for some reason I find that compared to other crafts/hobbies candle making materials, resources and variety are somewhat limited... I know there are great suppliers out there but to me it seems a bit short knowing that the candle business is talked about in the billions of dollars world wide. My question is mainly why is this? For example there's not even one candle making magazine! (now there's a business opportunity for someone with the will and resources) Do not get me wrong of all the stuff I know how to make this is the one that I have actually chosen to develop as a full time business in the long run. Which is why I kind of ask myself the previously asked question. I just want to know how do you guys feel as candle makers in general out there. Or am I just suffering the isolation of a beginning entrepreneur here? Dan
  8. Wow thanks all for the replies! I made those trying to come up with something a bit different and to find a style that I liked..I liked it but I guess you can't make everything to look like that some people like simpler things I do like simple crisp looking candles too I guess it all depends in what mood I am when I start melting wax and mixing in some colors : ) Here's a different one but in a much simpler look http://www.flickr.com/photos/41388514@N07/3831995250/
