    I've burned candles beyond 3 hrs and they were fine, the wax seal is "Faux Wax". There are alot of companies on line that sell them, I just did alot of research. You should check them out since I can see you like the look too.

    I think it has to do with something other than the can...a friend of mine made me candle (in a apothecary jar) and it did the same thing. I was shocked when I looked in the jar the next day. So I don't think it's the can...

    I'm with you...I really get sick of throwing out my 1oz samples. It adds up when you try a new company and so many sound good, then when I get them (and think yuck) and throw most of them out. I often wondered why you couldn't order test strips (like at the fragrance counter) with FO samples on them. I guess that would be a hassle.

    I also LOVE JS's sweet orange & pomegranate. There is no nasty fuel smell with this one.

    I may be a little boring but so far I am still leaning towards Honey, LiLac, Lemon Verbena, & and I threw in some English Lavender to ground it. The Flanel sheets I got smelled like a dryer sheet, just not my thing. Yes my combination is sweet, but that's how he is described in the book. I am going to order some samples from the company Paty mentioned, they sound great. I'll keep you posted. Kyme

    Von354 I have that one, it's a customer favorite. I tried the JS version, but the version I have been getting from ICS is alot stronger. Cactus & Sea Salt is definetly a keeper.

    I made my own business cards manilla tags, and I scented them. You could scent your business cards, or buy some water color paper and a decorative punch (like a large daisy shape) and scent them. We bought a "Tin Sample Cases" from BCS, and put those scented punch pieces in the little vials. It's handy to have. I just Love this site!

    Has anyone tried it? I was just wondering if it is just another version of a "Downy" scent. I'm looking for something bright and fresh, but not like a dryer sheet smell.

    AH/RE sell packs of 100 fragrance blotter strips, just like the ones they use at fragrance counters.

    NG has one called Bergamot & Terragon, it's fantastic hot or cold. Fresh & different.
