  1. You put them in a self cleaning oven for about 30mins or until you see they had dulled and aged, let them cool and they are ready to go.
  2. Thanks Debbie, those little jars are so limitless on the ways you can style them depending the look you are going for. Plus the most important part for me was they are available locally. One less thing to order
  3. On BCN (think or south) they talk about aging paint cans by putting them in a self cleaning oven to dull them. Well I do all my metal containers that way because I love vintage, rustic type styles and it works. OK if you are not on Pinterest, then you are missing a wealth of inspiration...LOL there was a tutorial on printing on fabric with your home printer. So I tried it and it really works, using a full sheet label, I iron on the burlap then trim the edges and run it through the printer. Thanks it's over the top, but I worked on the concept for awhile and I am happy with the results.
  4. this my finished look, I call them GypsyJars, in the little I vial I have a note that say's "You are in charge of your own Destiny". there is a tiny crystal ball charm I make and a rustic key; they are not visible in the image. I used burlap that I ran through my printer to put the design on the top. I also glue the top to the ring, plus I age the ring in the oven. I only use 1 drop of ivory liquid dye.
  5. After you try it let me know, OK? I like that I can purchase these at target and my local grocery store.
  6. I have been using CD 16's, they have been working out fine for me. I haven't tried the zinc wicks.
  7. Thanks but I need it to be safe for soaping. The one from CS isn't, I bet it is awesome.
  8. OK, so I ended up with with AH/RE's version...it's called Interlude. I like it, I think my friends who asked for it will be pleased. The next time I order from NG I will get a sample of their version to try. Thanks for all the input
  9. Thanks I will check them out, I do need to order clamshells so I can get a sample.
  10. Thank you that is so good to know because since I need it for candles as well as CP AH/RE sounds like a wiser choice.
  11. Well that one isn't the Angel Dupe...because I have talked about finding a good dupe with Rhonda. She would have told me if it was, I think. I think I am going to try AH/RE Interlude, the description said it was the dupe for it. I never noticed it before because I thought it was the dupe for some perfume my grandma used to wear called Interlude. I have also seen one on SC's site but it is $66 pp, that would be my taste to like it more than the other and want to use it. So I may not tempt myself...lol
  12. Thanks I wish I could use the one from CS , but says Candles only. I have made a rule for myself since I started soap making that I only buy a FO if it is soap safe. I will check out Fillmores
  13. I have had several requests for Thierry Mugglers Angel type FO in both CP and candles. Which have you found is the truest and still performs well in both. Thanks for your help in advance
  14. Hi Kristen I haven't been on here lately...but I thought about you when I came across this site. I was looking for some perfume vials. I remembered you asked about them before, you probably already know the site but I thought I would share just in case.

  15. The Rooto bottle days "100 % lye Crystals" my soap doesn't turn yellow.
  16. I buy mine from True Value Hardware... It's called Rooto. My Brother in law works near one and I would have him pick some up for me. He finally said me ..."I don't want to get them anymore, they keep looking at me like I am some Meth Maker!" lol So now I get it myself...
  17. Thanks Barb, it isn't a spice more herbs...that's what I was dreaming about when I made that blend and batch over the week end. It's citrus & fresh herbs I would say describes it. I have the lemon Pucker on my wish list
  18. Thanks I think I found what I am looking for at FNWL, Kitchen Herbs is the corect name but it's so dang expensive. $42pp, crazy!
  19. I just googled it...looks like its a Scenty Scent. here is the description..I sure wish there was someone duping some of their scents. Lucky in Love- "Sweet bouquet of mandarin, bergamot and orange with hints of peaches and berries."
  20. Wild MTN Honey is one of my absolute fav's!!! Mmmmm smells so wonderful in CP.
  21. BBW's had a room spray that was called Kitchen Spice...but it was lemony...not the nutmeg one. Does anyone know of that one or if there is a dupe or something similar out there?
  22. Lol, I thought it smelled like Bert's Aspen Forest. But I never have smelled the Original KY version.
  23. Thanks so far only to friends and friends of friends. Plus I have had a few home shows.... But I am working on it
  24. I just recieved a sample of MW's Winter Festival...it is almost exactly like Aspen Forest. It has that same citrus zing to it, I feel happy to know there is something out there comparable, since that is one of my most favorite scents. So all you Berts Aspen Forest lovers check out Winter Festival.
