    Because of the scent...I wanted to style the soap with Faux Candied Ginger. So I made a 1lb batch of crockpot HP. Scented it with BB's Ginger fish FO ( like a strong bitter ginger ale) smeared it very thin on a silicone matt then used a pizza cutter to cut it in tiny bits then tossed the bits in Turbanado Sugar. It looks like Candied Ginger IMO. Real happy with the results. A person could probably make a real cute gumdrop top on a soap batch as well.

    Sure Stella, since these are widemouth jars I don't see CD10's making it all the way to the corners. I will keep you posted!

    Oh Sorry, forgot to mention the size since I posted the picture...yes it is a 16oz. So far the CD12 is working, keeping my fingers crossed. I wont be scrapping these, they are keepers.

    Are you using 51's, I searched this jar and everyone seemed to be using them... But the info was from several years ago and I was hoping to hear if anyone was who was currently using this particular jar. I can order some Zinc's when I order my wax this week.....I love these little jar's they are so cute, never in my life did I think I would like a mason jar candle. Never say never, lol.

    Thanks for the input, I have a little bit of BB Salty Mariner left but I don't need anything else from them at the moment. But I need a few oils from DS. You know trying to save on shipping lately. Well let me ask your opinion... Which is your favorite? Honestly...

    Sorry I forgot to mention that I use 75 % 464 & 25 % 4630 paraffin. No other aditives... I do a double wick in another container because I have too. But in these jars I wanted to only single wick them. I was just curious what others were using. Thanks for all the input!

    Neither did I until I started seeing everyone making soap cakes and stuff, so I thought WTH why not try it. Thanks, I am a visual person. it's better to see it then try an explain the steps. Seriously they are very simple to make, the tips do all the work. I asked for my first set of tips when I was in 6th grade, so if a 6th grader can do it, so can most adults...I promise
