1. Just wondering if you have any updates on your testing.
2. Has anyone tried the bayberry scent from them? I bought it along with the Smokey MTN. Christmas tree type. The bayberry smelled more like clove oil to me. I did not hate it but it was just different. So far I have not been able to get the SM Christmas tree to throw well. But I still need to test a little more. Just wondering what your opinions were on these scents. Thanks
3. I actually have changed them some what. I do not us the glitter on the lid anymore, and I did away with the hang tag. Here is the link so you can see the change's. I will have to post some other colors as soon as I can. I had my first really big order go out last Thursday. So I'm in the process of making more. http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86758
4. kyme1911, I emailed you my PM is not working right. It won't load after I hit submit for some reason.
5. It is just a free background that I found. Here u can use this one if you would like. Just copy and paste it to your pictures. That way you can see if you enjoy making them. For this label I used Avery's Design Pro 5.4 Limited Edition. I don't know if you already have this downloaded but its free.
6. I don't grunge my labels at all I just Google free primitive clip art and backgrounds. Then copy and paste to my photos. Then I just use Photoshop or one of the Avery programs. But I'm going to have to buy some. Because the free ones are very limited and you have to search and search to find ones that are even worth using.
7. Those are really cute. I'm going to half to buy some primitive clip art.
8. Thanks, I just thought they looked a little to bumpy. I think I will try using a little less ground coffee next time and see how they look. You should have seen the very first one I made. I put way to much ground coffee. My husband saw it and he said it looked like I had just dug it up out of the ground.LOL It was terrible.
9. This is my the first try at rusty tin candles. Kountytimes, inspired me so I had to give it a try.
10. Is the epoxy called Ferido Adhesive. If so you might want to check out Fire Mountain Gems and Beads. Here is a the link http://www.firemountaingems.com/ferido/default.asp?navsrc=2
11. Me too!! Such a pretty name. It just fits so beautifully! It just sounds so high end.
12. Wow everything is so pretty. Even the pictures are great.
13. Thank you, I will take all of your advice about the label. Honestly I was having a time trying to find one to fit the top anyways.
14. Kountrytimes, I'm going to pm you later when I get a chance. I was wanting to see if you could help me out with my rusty cans. I just want to see what you think. Yours are always so pretty.
15. The picture is not all that great but please let me know what you think. Especially about the label. I wanted to find a circle label that would fit on top of the lid but have not really had any luck so far. Front of Jar Backside of Jar
16. Honestly you have to just call them and give them the measurements of your jar and they can tell you which lids will fit.
17. At first that is all I used. I have sold a good bit of them. But after working with them I'm just not really impressed with them anymore. I used them in 8 oz jelly jars. The jars would get extremely hot. So I tried different size wicks and they still got really hot to the touch. I also noticed that the ht was not very good unless it was a really strong scent. I do think that the main problem was the jar was just to small. I might try working with them at a later date. I had a lot of problems with them. A little bit of advice though its best to use the silicone to hold the wick tab down with. Because it does get so hot I found that if I used wick stickers or hot glue half way down the wick will fall over. I'm not saying every one of them will. But most of them will ether move or fall over with ws or hg.
18. Vanilla Voodoo is so good. I have a tester burning right now. The HT is great my whole living room and the entrance to my kitchen smells so sweet. I used .75oz per pound and let it cure for about a week. That was the hardest thing about the whole process. My fav is peony and white tea I got a sample a month or so ago and loved loved loved it. I really am not a fan of peony but this fo smells so goooood.
19. I found another place that has bayberry wax for $12.98 a pound. I personal have never used them, but maybe someone else has. http://www.waxhouse.com/catalog/wax/wax.html
20. They are really pretty. The tops look like they have a star pattern. Really cool!!
21. The Candle Makers Store does have a good peony. I have pour it before. Its is dead on.
