  1. Thanks you guys! I'm having a blast making soaps.
  2. The pictures are awful. I have to get a light box. The first bar is a cp/op batch scented with Be Delicious dupe from NG. The soap cupcake was a first for me and is made with the left over Be Delicious batch. It turned out pretty good. But next time I think I will put it in the freezer to help it come out of the mold better. The third batch is m&p scented with brandied pear.
  3. They look so good. I haven't tried salt bars yet, but when I do I hope mine look as pretty as your's.
  4. Just another very beautiful soap.
  5. I think you did an awesome job!! It looks perfect. Country Magic, Most people use bubble wrap.
  6. Candle Science has two awesome vanillas. Very vanilla is my favorite. It is more on the bakery side. Vanilla lace is a really good one to. I have mixed the two together for a perfect scent for lotions. This blend does last on the skin for awhile.
  7. Kyme, That is really pretty, and a great idea.
  8. Maybe this will help you a little. http://surefoodsliving.com/2008/12/tree-nut-allergy-questions-coconut-palm-oil/
  9. The Eo's that keep lice away is not a bad idea at all. I have school age children myself. Lice is not a problem we have had to deal with but I know its only a matter of time. Which Eo do you use?
  10. Thank you both!! I have a few ideas. Its just a matter of putting them together and trying them out.
  11. I want to try to make a batch of shampoo bars. I was wondering what oils some of you have used that didn't leave a sticky film on your hair? The oils I have are olive, jojoba, coconut, palm, sunflower, glycerin, Castor, safflower. I was also thinking about try to use a herbal tea in place of the water. I have some silk that I was going to use as well. I don't know I'm just throwing some ideas around.
  12. I did half and half. I poured the clear melt and pour soap first. Put the silly band in the mold. Let that layer set up and then poured a layer of white melt and pour that I colored. It looked really cute. Also rebeccajo you could do the same thing but put money in it. I want to make the money soap for stocking stuffer's this year. You just wrap the soap in a zipplock bag, or put it in a little lip pot.
  13. silly band melt and pour soap would probably be a big hit. I know it was with my girls, and all there little friends.
  14. That is really pretty!! I love the look of it.
  15. Berts lemongrass is my all time favorite. It smells just like cut lemons. It throws really well in soy.
  16. You have got to try berts juicy couture. I just bought some, and its not dead on but is really really close. It smells so good. Its also a good one for teenagers.
  17. We will find out this weekend. I was surprised that its a lot cheaper than the goats milk. Which is never a bad thing. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again!!
