  1. I've tried both the ecosoya will pour a bit smoother meaning no demples or need to repour but it does tend to frost..

I switched to KY this is my favorite, it does sometimes require a repour if the demples bother you, but I find the scent throw better..

I recommend the KY but both are good.

  2. Okay I just tested the 2 of them. I made sure to make them exactly the same with the same scent etc

They seem very similar, the only difference I detect is the new one seems to dry faster and to feel a bit less tacky on the skin, it also seems to feel more silky like there is cyclo or dimethicone it it or something. And I am noticing the new one is leaving a slight sheen on the skin, while the old one does not.

Now that they have set on my skin I am noticing a big difference the arm with the original feels tacky or sticky like, while the arm with the new one is silky smooth with a slight sheen to the skin left.

I definately prefer the New one :rolleyes2

I'm so excited this one really is better :yay:

  3. I plan to sell them and am wondering which of these portion cups hold up the best for shipment. And do you have problems with the cups cracking or melting due to fragrance oils.

Would I need to lower my fo % so that the fo would not melt the plastic?

I notice others use these alot, and a few customers said it was a cleaner way to store the tarts vs the cupcakes.

I feel it would be cheaper than the cupcake holders, but wonder about problems I may have with the portion cups... etc...

Love to hear what others find works best for tarts and which of the cups is best and where to purchase.. I have read something about #5 but where do you locate these..

    Thanks

  4. Thanks Ladies!! Maggie that was the one, I made it today and it turned out really nice :rolleyes2 It looks edible and leaves my skin so so soft. I love it.

I looked into the recipe with the soap this will be my next little project.

Thanks again for helping me find this one again!!

  5. About a month ago I found an emulsified sugar scrub in the tutorial section, or maybe it was a link I found to it, now I go to the tutorial section and do not see it. Am I missing something.. Are the older tutuorials archived or something?

I did a search and have found nothing so far.

Thanks for any help, I really wanted to try this recipe.. the teacher in the class said she put to much mica and the scrub was a copperish brown mica colored, to jog some memories.

  6. I use my Kitchen aid for large batches but when trying to only do 4 or 8 oz it just doesn't work.

My question is I have a regular stick mixer the kind for drinks, but I have seen some with an extra whipping attachment and am considering trying to use this for small batches..

Am curious what others use that works well for either FBB or Body Whip?

I'm just wondering if this whipp attachment works well

Do I need this special whipping attachment?

    Thanks for any help

  7. Lol Goweezergirl

I actually do that for body creams, I just dont' add much of Kentucky because it has a slight bubble gum ish note in B&B but in Tarts it is the absolute best, has great throw

I will never be without it..

Nobody has tried Berts Marshmallow, I saw a post that it was good. I'm real curious

  8. I need to check if it has Temp Control, but the last time it was in a different MicroWave, so it must not be that.

Don't know how I can be so unlucky, And it was a mess to clean up all the glass :tiptoe:

I do sometimes rinse them out with warm water, perhaps the water was not hot enough and the temp difference then caused the glass to break when it went back in the micro. I don't always do that sometimes i Use Paper Towels, but Maybe I did cause it to happen.

  9. Bumping This

    Has anyone tried Berts Marshmallow??

I think the best Marshmallow for Wax is KY Marshmallow

Best light realistic Marshmallow Soap Silly Marshmallow

2nd strong Marshmallow would be Lonestar if I could not get KY

I found Just Scent to smell more like sugar cookie, smells awesome though just not Marshmallow to my nose

I am thinking of trying Berts hoping someone has tried it, is a strong oil, or a light Marshmallow sniff.

    Thanks
