  1. I made coco's whipped body scrub and its wayyyy oily. What do I do? Is there any way I can save this????? I know castor oil is great for id its too dry, but what if its too oily?

Man oh man, Im on alot of forums and I have never had so many "harsh" responses from ppl (or read so many dircted to other "new" ppl)... Im thinking I may need to find another forum.
  4. How important is it to make sure that your lye/water mixture and oils are the same temp? Some people (books) say for the mixture and oils to be between 95 and 110 degrees, then mix. But Ive noticed some people on here just say "when the mixture and oils are warm, I combine them." ?

  10. thats a good thought...the only thing is she has diabetes and supposedly cant put certain things on her lotion....? she is going to get back to me on that. The base would be much easier for now. thx for yalls responses. care to share ur great lotion recipes?m:tongue2:

  21. what does the degree mean if a recipe calls for 76-degree coconut oil? Also, if the recipe is in ounces, is that weight or volume? tua!!
  22. hi everyone! I am new here! I am starting to make soap and having so much fun with it. I dont know much but Ive been reading on here and other internet sites to learn. I have a lot of stuff ordered so I plan on making more soap soon! I am going to try and create a recipe then ask you guys what yall think! I love this forum so far!
  23. at what point ddo you spray w/ alcohol? do you pour alcohol in a spray bottle?
