  1. Hi! I'm not sure what type/shape of tarts you make but the first thing that comes to mind is to get a silicone jelly bean mold and make all of your tarts that way. Then call them jillybeans
  2. mango peach salsa from peaks. Any suggestions? THANKS!
  3. I have never used this place but maybe you could find something here: http://www.frenchhillcountry.com/
  4. I just went to walmart.com to see if they had them on their site. They don't have the ones I saw but had some listed. From the looks of the melts on the first one they show, they are from the place scentsationals. I can tell by the labels. But the ones they have at the store have the BH&G label. http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_query=better+homes+and+gardens+scented+wax+cubes&ic=48_0&Find=Find&search_constraint=0
  5. The warmers are $15 and the melts are $2. The warmers are pretty. They had one that was white with the word joy on it. I believe they had a green one and also like a burgundy one.
  6. Thank you cedesousa5 Ravens, with that little amount of soy, you don't get the frosting do you?
  7. Now have scented wax cubes(clamshells) at walmart in the christmas section for $2.00. Seems like every big company is now doing these. Glad I decided to change my packaging! Oh and I forgot to say they also have some warmers that resemble the one's you can get at hobby lobby. I think they are scentsationals or something like that.
  8. Thanks jennyjo! We were typing at the same time and didn't see your post. I will try that too
  9. That is a pretty candle! I bet it smells amazing!
  10. That is cool looking! I like it!
  11. At first I thought I was going to have a hard time competing with scentsy but people soon realized mine was better! I also think the ones that are selling scentsy in my area are realizing they aren't what they say they are. I saw someone on my local craigslist selling all they had to get away from it all. Imagine that!
  12. Thanks Ravens What % should I try first? I've never used those two waxes before. THANKS AGAIN!

    Wax question

I'm trying to find a wax for tarts that have a great H&C throw that will not smear my clear boxes that I put them in. KY tart wax is horrible about smearing. I've tried 4794 mixed with 6006 and still smeared. I'm not too fond of 4794 alone. I like the creamy look. Maybe I mixed too much 6006? In the meantime I will play around a little more on the %'s. But would love to know if there is another wax that would be better. THANKS!
  14. I know that there sticky cinnamon bun is BCS cinnamon surprise
  15. Looks like people are reading this but nobody has used it? Guess I will just buy it! THANKS ANYWAYS!
  16. Hello! I just recently purchased a 2oz bottle of the hello sugar dupe from WSP. I went by the reviews since I have never smelled the real thing. I LOVE THIS SCENT! It is wonderful! But the problem is that I didn't realize how expensive it is. My question is, is the hey sugar from daystar an exact match? If not, is it close? Boy I hope so THANKS!
  17. I have tried the pre-made soy drops from candle soylutions. I personally didn't like them. I colored and scented like the directions and it took over a month for the fo to absorb. When they finally did, they didn't keep a long scent throw. Try this mold from van yulay. It looks to be the same. I'm getting ready to order one. http://vanyulay.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=54&idproduct=1553 HTH!!!
  18. Thanks y'all. I will try the spray. I ordered some 6006 so once that comes in I might try mixing it to see how that works as well.
  19. Thanks! I could not get the darn thing out of the warmer either. After putting it in the freezer it still would not come out I don't want to copy them, i just liked the fact how easy it was to get the wax out of the clamshell. I have been using ky parasoy and recently been playing with 4794. The 4794 is a booger to get out of the clamshells.

    Wax question

I had my neighbor bragging about scentsy the other day. So I asked her if I could try one of the melts to see what was so darn good about this company. Actually the melt was not that bad. The wax is somewhat hard but when you press on it, it's kinda soft. Make scents? lol Does anyone know what paraffin wax would be like that? This is what they say on there site. Scentsy uses a food-grade petroleum based wax. Scentsy chose this wax because of its superior scent loading ability, melting point and firmness. Scentsy looked at their waxes, but could not find a good quality vegetable based wax that held the scents.
  21. Peaks Birthday Cake is awesome. Everytime I burn it hubby thinks I'm baking. He should know better by now
