Im not sure where to post this, but my son is having a spiderman bday party. I wanted to make something to give out as favors but dont know what. They are probally too young for candles 4-9 yrs old. Anyone have ideas of what I could make?

ive made 1 oz candle samples of all the scent i carry to show people...now if i can just go up and talk to someone:confused: ...im so shy

Hello, I had a lady who emailed me saying that she was interested in haveing my candles in her floral shop as a consignment, and would also be interested in having my bath and body line for her gift baskets. The thing is she lives about 45 mins away from me, so if i do decide i want to have her carry my items, i would either have to ship them or drive out to her.

Do you guys think i should try this? i know some of you guys say yall dont like consignments..why is this?

My business name is The Blooming Candles, I only have a website, and im not registered under the name or anything yet. I started out making candles, but as time went on, I started bath and body products too. Hubby say I should only do candles because of the name, but I dont want to do only candle. Do you think the business name should be changed to something that dont only target candles in the name?

i like the first logo! I could tell right away you made candles. Without looking at your website, your logo gave me an idea of what your candles look like (palm wax). The second logo didnt describe your candles to me at all. good luck in what ever logo you pick

I thought about giving tealight candles in the scents that i carry, but bring a candle in the jar that i use to show them what it looks like.

I would like to wholesale my products. I only have one store (my moms) carrying my products. sells are ok, but I would like to have my places carry my products. How do you guys who sell wholesale to retail shops recruit them? I thought about making a brochure with samples and taking them to places, but how would i approach them?

Please tell me how you recruit wholesale accounts. TIA

hey powder, those molds look nice, i thought about getting a mold because it would be so much easier. i went ahead and bought some foaming lotion from WSP and trying out her frosting recipe to see how that goes first. if its too much for me, i think i'll have to get some molds and just do it that way.

thanks guys. they are mp soaps. i didnt have a decorator so i just used a zip lock bag and a tip, but the tip didnt work right so i ended up just using the bag with a hole at the tip.

i found a recipe from martha stewart. she uses epson salt, water, eo, and dye to make bath bombs. will it react the same way as the bath bombs that use citric acid? instead of water can i replace the liquid with oil? maybe sweeten almond oil or vit e?

will the whipped soap base not harden fast? i tried making some cupcake soaps using just mp soap base, and oh boy was the whipping hard! its harden up on me before i could even pipe it out.

i have my design in mind. is there any label maker software out there i can get for free where i can copy and paste my design into? i have avery, but cant figure or find the size i need. please help, i would love to start making labels this weekend. i need the 2x7 and the 1 1/3x4 size

my husband is a mechanic and used a lotion i made for him. he loves it because it has little fragrance and does not burn his chapped hands. i also have a mechanic soap i made for him too and uses it rather than the orange mechaic soap you buy from the store.
