I haven't tried CS red hot cinnamon but I did try cinnamon sticks and tested it as a tart and I didn't like it at all. If it can't throw in a tart I won't test it as a candle. My tarts are always stronger than my candles. Plus it had a very dull smell. I like cinnamon strong enough to burn my nose hairs. I need to try the red hot cinnamon.

I just ran a test with that one, CS cinnamon stick vs TCS cinnamon stick. Both were poured with same jar,wax, wick & the TCS won hands down. I had many people do the sniff test also to get other opinions. Now Ide like to find a red hot cinnamon thats a killer cinnamon scent

I am looking for a great red hot cinnamon & can't seem to find one that is a big thrower in soy. Who do you think carries a great one that I can try? I have been reading a lot about Peeks here so I'm thinking about getting some samples from there. Thanks for your help.

I think your candles look great! When I tried the advanced I loved how it looked but I could not get a good throw from it. Have fun testing, I found it to be so addicting lol.

I have one of the Candle Warmers plug-in type warmers in my bathroom that I picked up during a coop. Personally, I don't like it as well as the Levine's or OBI plug-in warmers that have the removable dish. It's pretty but I prefer the 2 piece plug-in warmers since I dump the wax when it is hot. I'm not so patient to wait til it hardens . . .

Well I just poured a 26 oz apothecary jar (tester) last night & I put 15 drops of color in 1 1/2 pounds of wax just to see how it would burn. It came out a beautiful dark color but like I said I did an extreme color on it to see how it goes. My only thought to switching from chip to liquid is I'm reading people stating the liquid doesn't hold up over time as well as the chips so maybe I should stick with the chips.

I did try the C3 alone and I had frosting so I added the coconut oil and it stopped that totally.

Ok, so I will get the Day at the Spa anyway, lol just because everyone has good reviews of it. I am glad I stalled around getting my order in because I had another big order come in today with scents that I wasn't planning on ordering so I saved on some shipping charges

I poured a tester of the Strudel and Spice yesterday....DEVINE!

Just haven't found a lime green dye chip yet! Was making coconut lime candles yesterday and really needed some lime color without having to mix colors. This is the downside to dye chips. It can be hard to mix colors using chips especially if you only use 1/2 or 1/4 chip per lb. The upside is I only need 1/2 to 1/4 chip per lb of gg palm so it saves me money. I rarely need a full chip the colors are so intense and deep.

I got my lime green color from Keystone Candle Supply, & it makes a bright lime green color in my soy wax. I use it for green apple, & lime cooler.

I just recently switched over to C3 & the only additives I put in is coconut oil & UV. I pour at cloudy stage & they look fine. I do have a bright red one that has been sitting under a florescent light for 2 months now to test for fading. I am liking the C3 a lot, I was using 415.

I'm slowly switching over to using liquid drops in my soy & I do like the results. Wondering though is 5 drops of color too much for 1 pound of wax? I read on here to not exceed 4, but sometimes I need a bit extra to get that darker color.

I use one of those nylon pan scrappers, just push the corner into the edge of the harden wax & it pops right out.

Since all this has happened and all the attention it has caused, do you think it's safe to order from these suppliers now??? I really need to order some stuff, but am scared to do it...

This is my question also. Is there any way we will ever find out which supplier got hacked? I need to order supplies again and have to do so via internet, I was just hoping by now someone would have found the issue and made us all aware of it. I definitely know it was one of five suppliers I deal with but that doesn't narrow it down enough for me.

26 - Beans . Last used at CS on 2-28. fraudulent activity on 3-1 ,3-5 , 3-6 all were in UK. I really feel strongly that mine was stolen at that CS transaction.

I am wondering if our orders would have had to have been recent. I'm sure the suppliers keep our info on file indefinitely.

Hope I did this correct. I'm thinking because places keep these numbers on file might be the problem. There is only one supplier I buy from that doesn't look at my card when I'm checking out, they just ask me if I'm using the card ending in XXXX on file to pay. The card that got hacked first was a debit card that I haven't used since 2009, so that tells me its not from recent purchases. Right?

I have two cards that are in the name of my business, they were both hacked. The one card is a debit card that I used only a couple times back in 2009, I then started using a credit card so I could receive reward points. Everything I purchase for the business I use that credit card even if its a pack of napkins. The first card to be hacked was the debit card, for a vaction, tickets for a sports show in UK, & a credit report. The credit card got hacked with xbox charges. There were other charges but they were stopped by the credit card company.

The only places I ever used that debit card at in 2009 that would have a copy of it on file would be the following companies...

Is there any way we can find out which of the following companies were hacked?

This old house throws well for me in 415 & c3, it is a pretty good seller. The cinnamon bread pudding I love but doesn't sell so I'm renaming it to see if it sells.

I read somewhere that black ice was actually "Drakkar". I never did compare them but let me know if its correct.

So are you telling me when I ask them at C&S if their planning on restocking it, they say "yes" that means their flat out lying to me?

I just checked CS and the shipping for two cases would be $54.34, I wish I could spend so much & get free shipping lol. I might just try to make it down to Candlewic to do a pick up.

That's what I'll probably be doing. I'm not sure what s going on with C&S lately but they have been out of many things almost everytime I go down there. I had to wait a very long time on the aroma beads now they have been out of both my waxes since before Christmas. They never give me a reason, they just say "oh we'll have it in a couple weeks" So I started testing C3 because I knew Fillmore Containers carried that and I had great results actually better than my 415 so I just went down this week and got a couple cases of the C3. Now I just need to order the Ecosoya PB through CS. Funny thing, a girl posted wanting to try a new wax on their facebook I they recommended her to use the 415 & I posted, but they haven"t had it for a couple months and they removed my post lol. I wasn't rude I just posted how they still are out of stock on it. I'm thinking if you don't keep items stocked up you can loose customers that way.

My supplier has been out of both my waxes for a couple months now and I'm beginning to worry. They were telling me, 2 weeks, but that turned into months now. They don't give me any kind of explanation, nor do they give a time frame they will have Ecosoya PB back in. So now I started testing C3 two months ago just in case I needed to make a switch, glad I did that. I am switching my candle wax to that. I can pick that up at Fillmore Containers but as far as my tart wax I don't know what I'm going to do, shipping would be a killer. Does anybody know a supplier in PA, or New York that I could try? Or maybe share a good soy tart was I could start testing? Thank you so much for your time.

I'm using NG & it sells out constantly. I think its dead on!! I have a candle poured I want to try using 415, I will post here after I test it.
