  1. Too right! I've said my piece and am now keeping out of it! They're discussing the Suprapein-type ones versus Parabens.
  2. Robin, you're a mine of information! I'm not going to get into a debate on "natural" as there's one on preservatives on a UK group at present! As regards the surfactants, I think it's a case of choosing the one that's good for your skin and making sure it's not other ingredients causing the problem! Sarah.
  3. Thanks Robin! The surfactants I mentioned are coconut-derived also. Are any of this type of surfactant actually "Natural"? Sarah.
  4. Why not try Sodium Cocosulfate or SMC Taurate instead? Both are available from The Herbarie and are mild surfactants. I made some bath cream and bubble bars using them and a friend with sensitive, dry skin fell in love with them. They leave the skin feeling wonderfully conditioned afterwards! HTH, Sarah.
  5. How about that balm recipe in the link, but using olive oil infused with chamomile and lavender flowers, then a small amount of lavender and chamomile EO?
  6. Glad to help! I've bought from both and they are suberb, both products and customer service. Be warned though, you could spend all your Christmas money there and some!! The Herbarie also has some fab recipes using the extracts. I've made many and loved them all. Hope you have fun! Keep us posted! Sarah.
  7. Ooh, you must try www.thesynergy.com or www.theherbarie.com Both have extracts - The Herbarie has a huge selection of single ones and blends. The Synergy also has Collagen Pro, which is excellent. They are water-based and you only need a small %. I have bought from both and they are fabulous.HTH, Sarah.
  8. Hi, My DH usually raises his eyebrows when I say "smell this" to a new FO, but he adores Commando from bayousome.com! HTH, Sarah.
