darlatoms if they are the 8oz square mason jars they should be the same size opening as the Jelly Jars the small should fit them. HTH

Fern-Marie this is Robert with EZ Wick Systems. I pm'd you about your tool. It could be that you have a bent rod. But also it sounds like it might not be setting right in your container. If the tool fits sloppy in your container then it will not set the wick in the center. What container are you using. We do offer to modify tools to fit containers the the setter does not fit. In either case let me know if it is a bent rod I will send you a new setter to try out at no charge. If it doesnt fit your container you can send me your container and we will modify to fit. HTH

islandgirl, your right some wicks are rigid enough just to bend over and hold. I use zinc core wicks and I dont have to use anything I just pull it taught and bend it over and it holds no problem. If you use a cotton wick naturally you would have to hold it with something. Paper clips are the easiest to use. Easy to put on and cheap. Regardless if you have to use a paper clip or not you dont have to worry about the tool moving on you. It cant slide off center and you can keep your containers close togethere. HTH

Japes, The EZ Wick Setter is for placing the wick in the center of containers on the bottom, faster. I have been able to wick containers in half the time with this tool, instead of the old fashioned way . The Wick Centering Tool for Containers is for holding your wick after you pour your container. This keeps the wick in place while your wax is curing. With this tool, you can place your containers closer together and not have to worry about moving the wick, it will stay in the center. And you don't have to babysit your containers while the wax is curing and keeping the wick in the center w/o the tool. With the Wick Centering Tool for Containers, I can only speak from my own experience, but when doing Fundraisers and being able to pour 12 cases at a time....and not worrying about my wicks is GREAT! Tara, I'm sorry I don't have the prices already updated now...I have been working on that and will have them up tonight when I get home from my other job. Tara and Geekrunner, yes the Large WCT for containers have the holes for double wicking to match the EZ Wick Setter. The small WCT's are just the right size for 8 oz jelly jars, but can fit other containers as well. The large ones will fit apothecary (sp) jars, and with adapters, will fit other jars as well. I'm testing the medium WCT's to see what size jars they will fit....I don't have all the different containers. I took all of these to Wally world to see what sizes I could get these to fit with containers there. Bruce, yes they are made out of heat resistant plastic. Thanks Rob in tx

Sorry I didn't respond earlier. Left to go visit my mom and grandbabies, and didn't have access to computer. Thank you all for the advise. I plan on using Lard as well as the PKO and Canola/Corn Oil. First batch was Lard, Coconut Oil, and Olive. I used full water (of course ), and made sure I used a very well behaved FO (mountain lake), so I had time to even attempt a swirl. I did everything low temp, and light trace (probably should have gone a little more), but I finally used my soap today, and love the feel, look and so forth! No dryness for myself, but I know some people don't like Coconut Oil, so thought I'd try the PKO and with high prices of Olive Oil, decided to change oils to Canola/Corn Oil and see what happens. Robin, I will do what you suggested and go with the lower amount of lye. Just wasn't sure how to plug in? I'll post as soon as I give it a whirl. I plan on trying some Rice Bran Oil soon too, just have to order, so that's another time. Thanks to all that replied!, Steph in tx

tangerine this is Robert with EZ Wick Systems. The large is not adjustable I looked at making some where they could be adjustable but the cost to have them made would be very expensive and would probably cost candle makers about $1.00 a piece. But in a few days I will be posting on my site the Wick Centering Tools and I am going to have some adaptors. With the adaptors you can fit a few more containers using the tools available. But I will show this on the site it will be easier to understand with pictures of what I am talking about. My plan is to have the tools made to fit about 90% of containers that candle makers use and a lot of tools for the pillar molds. I am hoping to have the site updated this weekend with the tools and some of the containers they fit. Keep checking the site and I will post when I have it updated. I thought Iced Pinapple was a mixture of Peppermint and Pinapple. I did this mixture a couple of years ago around the holidays, and couldn't keep it in stock!! I'll look for the Iced Pinapple to see what it says. Stephanie

I think I agree more with Sue-NY and AngelaVa now that they mentioned it. I have not poured votives in a while. I know my rack mounted votives had a warp in it. But the votive molds do have that rim that could cause the wax to shrink unevenly if poured to high. Rob in tx

Are you using the votive molds that are on the rack. Your kithchen counter could be perfectly level and the rack could be slightly warped. I would use a level and check the counter top. Are they all uneven or just a few. If you are using the rack of votives, I would check it after I put it on the counter top. Just curious.. Rob in tx
