Hey everyone, I am going through all my F.O.s and wondered what the updated thoughts on MillCreek are. I did a search and it must be messing up since the most current dates I found were 2007. Tad bit old. LOL
Any thoughts, opinions appreciated!

I have always used my presto pot for my M&P. Works great. Never thought about a rice cooker.

Aimee81.... I have a few CDN 22's if you want them to test with.

I just went to Candlewic and didn't see any CDN's. Am I missing them? Thanks

:yay:Can't wait!! Thanks again
they are enroute to you already!! Happy Pouring

Yes, I only use CDN's. I called John at 1-631-627-6033, he is wonderful and will help you out big time!
-
Not only was the price great... the service was top notch and the product superior.
I did check out all 3 wick distributors before I chose Precision Wicking!
-
If you don't mind my asking, what was the cost for 5,000 of them?
It really depends on what size they are and what length but what I got was around $250 plus shipping.
-
I think they will last me a while. LOL
If anyone needs any... you know where they are at!

Cary, I tried to PM you but it wouldn't allow me, so I sent you an e-mail.

They are a manfacturer, requiring large minimums. My experience while dealing with the 3 main wick companies is Precision Wicking out shines the others! I talked to John about lowering the minimum, telling him that I was sure people would love to buy straight from them and know their "supplier" would not discontinue or go out of business.

http://www.precisionwicking.com/ John can help with any issues. I think he said they have over 100 different wicks now.

Hello All..... just wanted to share my excitement.
I just got off the phone with John at Precision Wicking. I placed an order for CDN 10, 12 & 14. They are a great company to deal with and John is wonderful!! I should have them in a week.
Merry Christmas to me.

I am actually less then 10 minutes from Natures Garden.... LOVE them, and 50 minutes from WSP.... neither of them carry SFIC bases though.
I love to hang out an NG and smell all the FO's!! LOL
Thanks for the suggestion though!!

From what I saw on the pre-buy price.... Soapies is cheaper on the Shae by $.15 a lb. I will have to check it out again. Assuming BB is Bramble Berry.
-
I might get a bit now... it is more for personal use and a few friends. I will stock up through the prebuy.

FYI.....

A friend has this issue.... my soap helps, but am wondering what other additives really seem to help.
Right now I use SFIC shea base, grapeseed oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil, some Dr. Bronners liquid soap for extra lather... might be one other thing but my recipe isn't near me.
Can anyone recommend any additional things to try?
TIA

I am running low on my shea base... last time, I purchased from Kangaroo Blue and picked it up at an event. I know Peaks carries it also.
I am trying to find all places to purchase so I can find the best deal.
Does anyone know of any other places that carry it??
TIA

removing wax from clothing
in General Candle Making Discussions
Posted
Good Morning Everyone...
Does anyone have any tips on how to remove wax from clothing? I was messing around with the heat gun and did not realize I had splattered wax on my clothes. They went through the washer and dryer when I saw the little dark spots. The wax had no dye and was mostly soy.
I know you can iron it out but there doesn't seem to be any wax on the material still. Except for color it looks and feels the same as the rest.
TIA
Danielle
