  1. Love Spell (NG) Black Currant (NG) Blackberry Sage (KY) Cinnamon Bun (BCN) Ocean Mist (BCN)
  2. Can anyone recommend a good honeysuckle fragrance oil? Not really big on florals myself but at least twice a week I get a request for it so I figured I should order some! TIA:)
  3. Is this the same place? http://www.crowescandles.net/
  4. I use a roll of shrink wrap. Just cut the appropriate size for your candle. Wrap it around & tape it with the clear scotch tape. Then use heat gun or hair dryer to shrink the wrap. For the bottom I fold it like you would do a present, shrink it and tape it. For the top I do the same except I leave it longer. I shrink it but not all the way. Then I tie a ribbon around it & pull tight. I have had some on the shelves for several months and they still smell good!
  5. We sell the tins like crazy. I can barely keep them in stock! We sell the 2 oz. for $2, the 4 oz. for $4, & the 8 oz. for $7.
  6. Thanks for the replies! I tried calling this person & they never returned my calls so I sent a letter certified/return receipt. Here in Illinois they get 30 days to pay but in the mean time I will take the check to her bank. It was only $35.00 but for me it's not about the money. People shouldn't write checks if they have no money in their account to cover it. From what I hear it's not uncommon for her to do this. Wish I would have known before!
  7. For any of you that have received a bad check from a customer. What do you do after you have already tried to contact the customer to no avail? Should I send a certified letter to her or should I just contact the States Attorney's office where the check writer lives? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  8. Yay! My Dollar Tree just started selling these. Many different colors & a few different shapes. My local Family Dollar was selling these for $3.00. Glad to see I can get them cheaper. I don't trust the tea lights from these stores. I have had a few catch on fire! My customers buy their own.
  9. When I first started ordering from this company everything was great. Fast shipping, good customer service. (This was back when they were making silicone molds.) It seems like the bigger she got the less she could handle orders. Ordered some stuff on her website & ebay. Waited a month, got all kinds of excuses. Finally got fed up & filed a complaint with PayPal to get my money back. I liked the Strawberry Musk & Blackberry Sage. Managed to find the Blackberry Sage that smells just like hers. Didn't even bother to leave negative feedback. I figured she would get enough of that without my help.
  10. About to attempt some of these. Was wondering how many should be used per bath. I thought maybe 2 would be too oily. Does the size of the tub make a difference? I have a huge bath tub but not everyone does. Any help would be appreciated!
  11. Thanks for the info! I am glad I waited to place an order. I wonder if TDF is caught up on their orders yet. I know they sell silica gel, too. I just don't want to have to wait forever to get it!
  12. Okay, since RJs is not taking anymore orders, I can't order anymore silica gel from there. Has anyone ever ordered from this place: http://www.candleandsoapstuff.com They sell it but I have never dealt with them. Just wondering how service is.
  13. WSP also has one called "Dreamsicle" that is pretty good. Too bad they raised the price by $3.00. Just Scent also has one called "Orange Dreamsicle". Just ordered some samples from them so haven't tried it yet.
  14. You might also want to pop your embeds in the freezer for a bit. I usually put mine in for about 10-15 minutes.
  15. Thanks, I found it at Herbal Soaps by RJ.
  16. Anyone know where to find silica gel, besides TDF?
  17. There are some at this site www.giantcandleco.com/candles.html that has some pretty big ones. Very pricey too! It might give you a starting point.
  18. I purchased mine from http://www.scentoils.com/
  19. I have been playing around with the reed diffusers recently. I have been mixing them with DPG. They seem to do nicely with strong fragrances. Still more testing to do though.
  20. Also, scottcrewcandlesupply.com has very nice, high-quality molds. I have some that I have had for several years & they are still in great shape!
