I always add my FO & Dye around 185-190. I then stir for 2 min. Let cool to 150 then pour. Everything mixes well for me. I just did some birthday cake scents, they turned out great, and OMG it really smells like birthday cake.

Yeah Thanks. I may just have to live with it in these jars. I got these jars because of price, but I may go back to hex jars.

I am using 1 1/2 oz of FO My containers are 3" round mason jars. I have tried all the LX RRd & HTP wicks. I am Working on cotton core now I may have it down.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I made some candles for Christmas, wicked just fine. Now I can't even wick one. It doesn't matter what size I use it always seems to have a big flame and flickers. I've tried different ones HTP, LX, Cotton Core, RRD they all flicker no matter what size. First of all, are you going to sell these? I would be a little cautious to burning wax in pottery, also I would be cautious about reusing a container if it was already used.

yeah I can't wick up my 9oz container anymore I get to much flicker. I will try this next wax and see what happens. I"m using 9oz hex jars with a small opening so I don't want to wick to big. Right now I have a C70 in and seems to be doing well as far as melt pool and all. Thanks

I have been working with The IG4630 I don't have the scent throw I want. Not very good cold throw either. I just ordered some IG4786 Hopefully this will be better. Any suggestions on the best wax for scent throw? I am using 1 oz of FO per LB of wax, could I possibly use a little more? My melt pools are good. Every thing tests fine just the scent throw.I make container candles.

I make wicked container candles found the 4630 scent throw is not the best, so I ordered some 4786 from peaks, gonna try that.

OH yes I thought I was crazy. I am Just getting my candles down, but I thought man they don't even smell and I add 1oz of FO by weight to 1 LB of wax. But everyone else says they smell great. Maybe I'll get some coffee to smell. LOL..... nothing like sniffing coffee.
