Just wondering what everyone uses to cut their soap logs. I've been looking at different cutters, as no way I'm gonna slice off a decent bar of soap freehand. Finally found a scale, which will be coming in tomorrow, YIPPEEE!!!. Might as well order out a cutter if I'm going to need one. Any suggestions???
At my frocery store, they sell a bakers scraper, It is metal, and has a wooden or plastic handle. It works great!!

I too use zincs, couldn't live without 'em. Mine do not shroom too bad, and I consider it an advantage since it prompts customers to trim their wicks

What about hurricanes? They would be safer for a longer period of time, need no trimming, and look similar to pillars. Just a thought.

Hi all!! Just wondering something. Since I lost all of my notes in the old CT, I forgot something. I am about to make my 2nd batch of CP, I am going to try Lizzy's recipie, but it mentions nothing about FO. How much should I add? I looked through all of the lye calculators, and the only one that I can really get the hang of is the sage one, but it has no entry for FO that I can see. Any reccomendations?? TIA--Tess
