What is the web-site that carry the bell-a-roma burners? Are they those glass or crystal looking oil burners? I have seen those if they are the ones your talking about.

I need a wax like Ky's 133, I have a problem with every 50 pound box I get from there. It is like it has been melted and stuck together. I have to beat it with a hammer to break it up so I can measure it. Does anyone know of a wax similar to this. Does Aztec in Knoxville have one? they are not far from me. TIA.

I have got samples also. The samples will last for some time but, when I spoke to Victoria at Personal Care about the products the smallest amout of Hydrovance you can order is 500 pounds and it cost 495.00. I want to try this in my lotions but if it does make a wonderful lotion what are we going to do when the samples run out. She couldnt even tell me where I could buy smaller amounts at. So I wonder how many samples can we order.

I need it in my lotions because the malibu tubes I use is letting the light turn my lotions yellow. I have had a time trying to figure this out. I know it is the light because it only turns on the side facing the light. I was told it is oxidizing so if I put the titanium dioxide in there it will help block the light. I am going to try the regular TD and see what happens. I only have to use such a small amout it probably wont make a difference as far as how my lotions feel. I dont think it will leave a white residue. The only way I will know is to TRY. So my question now is do I add it to the oil phase or the water ? TIA

I have a pound of the one for soap, I ordered it from Angie at the herbarie and she said they were different because the one you use for soap will leave a white paste like on the skin. It will look like the stuff you see on the life guards nose at the beach. I was told there is a micronized titanium dioxide used for lotions. This is all knew to me. I just started making lotions. Thanks anyway for the info.

My formula consist of water, glycerin, sunflower oil, mango butter, shea butter, kukui nut oil, sweet almond oil, liquid polymer, e-wax, EDTA, Fragrance. I think I have found out what the problem is. I talked to the lady at essential wholesale and she said if I was using a Natural Base then my lotions would turn yellow unless I use chemicals to stop it. She also suggested I use some kind of bottles that you cant see through for my lotions.

I make lotions and I am having trouble with them turning yellow. I have noticed that when I lay the lotions down, the side that is turned up toward the lighting is turning yellow and the other side is ok. If it is the light doing it, will adding Titanium Dioxide to the lotions stop it? I have had the lotions Lab Tested so I know nothing is growing in there. TIA

I use the ewax and the liquid polymer in my lotions. I love this stuff, makes your lotions thick without that waxy feel you get when you use just ewax.

I will use more mango or shea butter for the coconut oil since you have used up to 20% on the butters. I really appreciate you helping me. Do you think this recipe will have a good lather? TIA

What could I sub for some of the coconut oil? I really would like to stay at about 10% coconut but I dont have any PKO so is there something else I could use? I have some kokum butter and shea butter but isn't 5 % the most you should use in butters? I have only made a couple batches of soap and both were too drying. Also isn't the coconut oil for lather? I want to make cp soap. How does this recipe look? I want lather and condition but not too drying. coconut oil 8 oz. olive oil 8 oz. Palm oil 6 oz. rice b. oil 8 oz. mango butter 2 oz. 8-12 oz. of water and 4.5 oz. of lye. I wanted to use 16 oz of olive but only have about 12 so I thought I would sub the rice bran for the olive.

I just started making my lotions, and I sent them to a lab and had them checked for mold and something else I needed to have them checked for. It cost 30.00 dollars for both test. The lady that tested them emailed me the results in about 48 hours but I didnt get the actual test papers for about 7 to 10 days. Also she said we are really suppose to test every batch but that is a little expensive for the home base businesses. She said if I use the same formula then I should be fine. She also said I might need to have them tested from time to time just to be on the safe side. IF you want I can get the information you need to have yours checked just let me know. Where do you get your vanilla stabilizer if you dont mind me asking? I ordered mine from wholesale supplies plus. How much do you add to your FO's? supplies plus told me to mix it 1:1 then add 3% to the base. Does this sound about right? I am just getting started with the lotions and hope to add cp soaps soon. TIA

I sell Fragrance Oils, so I kinda hate to post where I buy from. The oils are really strong so I may have to cut back on the ones that are turning, but everyone loves the way the scent last and dont want me to change anything. Also I ordered some vanilla browning neutralizer to add to the FO, they said it would help some. Have any of you all used this in your lotions or cream? I just got my order in today, havent tried it yet.

How much fragrance oil to a pound of lotions or creams? also I used 3% of Love spell to a batch of creams and after 3 or 4 days my creams started having a little yellow tint in the tubes. I have had my creams lab tested and they are fine. I was told by one of my suppliers it is because of so much Vanilla in some of the FO's. Has anyone had this problem? I think it might be the vanilla because all of the creams dont do it, Just the Love Spell and the Sweet Pea so far. Do you think 3% is too much FO ? TIA

where did you find the colored bottles? I am thinking of doing lotions and would like to use the colored bottles because I dont want to color my lotions. TIA
