I used sage and lemongrass from Peak, and followed the recipe as written on the BB site (no subs). When I divided the batter into three containers, I eyeballed it, like it says, and I ended up with more green than the other two. Next time I think I will measure better.

I have the BB silicone mold that they use in the tutorial. I think I will use sage and lemongrass from Peak, not sure though.
I have to do a LOAD of housework before I can even think of playing.

Have squirt bottles now, and will attempt this recipe either today, or tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I've never soaped with it, and I don't cook with it. I just bought some at the grocery store to use in this recipe. I need some condiment bottles now and I will be good to go.

That impressionist soap sure is appealing! I bought all the stuff to try that out, but haven't had the time yet. Are you avoiding the canola for fear of DOS? Or do you just not like canola?

Merci beaucoup!

(ps- I just got Peak's email about Lemon Coloda!)
I didn't get this newsletter... I wonder why? Could someone please post the info from the Peak email? In the appropriate area, of course. I hope I am not missing a sale!

I've never tried any of the ones you have listed, but I do love:
cinnamon sandalwood
pumpkin vanilla
be delicious
goji berries and pomegranate
starfruit and mango
and
pink lemonade

Wasabi is my favorite. It's an in-your-face kind of FO, but I love it in CP and candles.

It's a good straight patch. I am going to get another pound even though I still have some left over from the last prebuy. I also ordered the bergamot tobacco. That sounds very interesting.
-
I'm confused! First you said "I got a few samples, and wasn't all that impressed with most of them" and then at the end you said "I must have tried about 85% of their entire selection and was fairly impressed with most!"
I know there have been a few posts about them recently.

There is another explanation, Eric: maybe your sense of smell is impaired. Or you have a different definition of what a "wicked throw" is? I use all the usual suppliers, and have never gone onver 8%. I get some wicked throwers.
About a month ago, I tested a 6 oz tin, with 7.2% baked apple from ICS, and the scent filled my downstairs! I'm not messing with you.

This one may be a new one, I'm so excited about some of the upcoming ones too.
The bergamot and tobacco sounds really interesting! I've loved everything from Moonworks. I don't even think twice about buying a pound of a fragrance I have never sniffed.

It is the remake for the Solas Energy everyone always loved.
Oh, I didn't know that! I ordered a pound yesterday just because the description sounded so good. I still have about 2 ounces of Solas' Energy so I will be able to compare, though it is a bit old by now.

I agree too. That letter is a bunch of spin. All they had to say is: our EVOO is 100 % EVOO and nothing else. But they didn't.

Anyone try their white palm slatkin type? I think it is rather new. It sounds interesting.

Wow, this is very interesting information. For eating, I don't really mind that it is cut. But for soaping, I'd like to know what oils are present, and the percentages.

I placed an order as soon as I heard and received the order very quickly. But man, that box and everything in it REEKS of ciggybuts. So disgusting. I had to get rid of all the packaging immediately.
The VBN still smells divine though!
