Steve - I am very jealous that you can do a pick up with Candle Science! However, I would be flat broke if I lived too close!
-
I like Southern Soapers' Tassi lavender. It's the only lavender I have CP'ed, so I don't have anything to compare it to.
I hope someone buys SS!

Gingerbread - Sweet and warm with a ginger kick, our Gingerbread Fragrance Oil combines warm vanilla and spices for a homemade, fresh from the oven gingerbread scent.
This fragrance oil is infused with natural cinnamon leaf essential oil.
Peanut Butter Cookies - The name says it all - Peanut Butter Cookies will bring back memories of school bake sales and grandma's kitchen. Peanut butter, cream, and vanilla combine perfectly in this delicious fragrance oil.
Twigs and Berries - Some scents do well year round, and we think Twigs and Berries is one of them. Spicy berries, punchy fruit, and woody undertones make it a popular choice as a masculine or feminine fragrance oil.
This fragrance oil is infused with natural lime, grapefruit, fir needle, and clove essential oils.

Nope. Anyone can post a sale in there Just not of their own product (thought I better clarify that lol)
It says:
Members with Marketplace privileges may post sales going on within the (craft) community.
Who gets/has Marketplace privileges? I too thought only suppliers could post. Sorry to go off the topic of the thread.

I received the driftwood... I think it is misnamed. Here is the description:
Great as a masculine or feminine scent, our Driftwood is a woody, earthy mix of vanilla and sandalwood, warmed with musk and a touch of patchouli for a calming and long lasting fragrance oil.
The description is spot on, but the name? To me, a scent called "driftwood" should have something about the ocean in it. Maybe it is because I live on the east coast...
I should add that I have only sniffed OOB, and I do like the scent. I just wouldn't call it driftwood.

Well, since origami is Japanese, I would go with Japanese pear and ginseng (elements) and yuzu (SGS), or both can be found at AH/RE.
Traditional Japanese incense has sandalwood in it, and cloves, cinnamon, patchouli, etc. And cherry blossoms, plum blossoms...
-
Why did I open this thread. Off to look.
Ditto. My poor credit card is still warm from purchases at SGS and AH/RE.

Thanks for your reply! As it turns out I got my oils today, very fast service!
How is the applewood??

I love Pure Grace too. I have not tried the DS version, but I do like the one the scent works carries. They call it pureed grapes, or something like that.

Can anyone comment on the AJ & P from Tony's or Flicker's? Or SC?
-
My all-time top ten list would have to include:
patchouli honey
red tea
ginger lime
olive blossom
Others that might make the list:
balsam and citrus
bartlett and basil
sea island grapefruit
Also love the japanese pear and ginseng from FOH.

Wow, KY seems to be the winner here! I haven't placed an order there for a while. Gotta figure out what else to get...
thanks for the replies!

It seems like every supplier carries a version of this scent. Are there huge differences? Anyone have a favorite? I'll be using it in candles.
-
I'm totally in love with the summer solstice one!
-
Some are HDPE (number 2 recycling) and some are PET (number 1 recycling).
Most use HDPE. Aroma Haven, Peak, and Candle Science use PET. Maybe some others do too, I just can't think of any right now. PET is the crystal clear plastic.

candlewic also does custom wicks, but the smallest batch is 500 wicks. Watch for a 50% off sale that they often have.
-
Patchouli Honey from Elements (formerly Flickers) made a patch lover out of me.
Me too! It completely changed my view of patchouli.
-
Nope, no way. I have CS very vanilla and CC vanilla voodoo in front of me. There is no comparison. Voodoo is sooooo much richer, way more depth.
Both are great suppliers, IMO.
-
I use wasabi in CP too. In fact, it was the FO I used in my very first CP batch.
Also, it is one of their web special scents this month - 20% off. I just bought a pound, I love the stuff so much!
No acceleration or discoloration.
-
Maybe you could contact Oldtimer & Lily? She used to do prebuys, maybe she can help you out.
-
I've been tempted by the ginger gelato, but so far I have controlled myself.
-
I swear it was christmas tree on clearance, but now it is christmas cedar...
I will miss the fig forest and jack frost.
-
jeni18 - where did you order them?
-
Anyone try these new BW FOs yet:
White tea leaf and papaya
midnight whispers
currant and acai
I don't know how new they are, I just noticed them yesterday. I'm definitely going to get the white tea one. I'll buy any FO with the word 'tea' in it!

ETS: it is awesome!
