  1. I really dont think I will - that was too overwhelming and taking too much time to weed through it.. Now that I have more shelving that is helping a ton... we are thinking about buying some property and building me a shop - hopefully sometime this year.. One of my New Year goals is to work on being more "organization smart" in the long run it will save so much time and allow me to play more..:wink2:

11 jars and 32 votives--- OMG that would be a dream.. :D I am counting all raw material (wicks, color chips, fo, weighing butters, oils) etc as well as products ready to sell...

  2. my floor.. :laugh2: I tell you this YE inventory was about to kill me.. I got so crazy busy Oct through the weekend before Christmas, my workroom - which is about 10x30 got to the point that you could "barely" walk in it sideways with out knocking something over or off the shelves because of all the packages from shipments etc.. The day after Christmas, Randy was up here closing the books in the computer, I walked in and just stared, I didnt know where to start, I was completely overwhelmed - dont ever recall feeling so overwhelmed before.. Randy put up a bunch more shelving for me, so now I have places to put stuff.. so I am cleaning, organizing, doing inventory and updating my website all at the same time, it is taking longer, but will be worth it when it is over.. and I can start "playing" again with all the goodies - I bought, put away and forgot about (not me)... ;) Randy also got me one of those turkey fryers with the spigot and I havent even put a drop of wax in it, I dont dare, that will be the end of inventory.. the end is getting there.. hopefully by the end of the weekend.. I will never let my workroom get to the point it was...

  3. I feel your pain.. I in the PAST - I had several big mishaps... but with Fed Ex not UPS.. The Fed Ex thing worked itself out, guess it was a new warehouse issue... but our UPS here is nothing less than outstanding.. it is funny how different parts of the country have different feedback on the different carriers.. I hope yours works out its wrinkles.. ;)

  4. stupid question - but I have to ask: Does this make 1 bar so I would have to multiply it by how many bars I wanted? :tongue2:

"I was told that all parts should be equal (beeswax, butter, oils) so that's what i do

    I use

    1oz beeswax

    .5 oz shea butter

    .5 oz kokum butter

1oz SAO or a light oil

    fo to preference

goes on great not sticky or hard you can substitute the oils or butter but I found coconut oil or cocoa butter to be hard and shea by itself too greasy."

  5. I cant find the directions for this.. I tried to search the archive because I know Robin posted it before, but couldnt get it to pull up.. anyone have these directions that they can post? I have my first in home party tomorrow.. wasnt going to do the game thing but then thought about doing just the one to help get everyone in the buying mood.

  6. Okay - so I am % stupid.. if I am going to do the following.

    Body SALT SCRUB

1/2cup melt and pour soap base

    1 teaspoon fo or eo,s

    1/2 cup sweet almond OIL

    few drops of liquid color(optional

    1 1/2 cup epsom SALTs

What would the % be.. :embarasse I am so stupid figuring these things out.

    Thanks for the help... :)

  7. nobody... :sad2: Should I add a little vit e or something else I know I have other things that I havent used yet.. but I am not at home so cant think of what it is called "liquid par" maybe? if I should add some, using the above recipe as a guideline, what would the suggested amount be?

  8. I got this recipe out of the archives (I think it is Lins)and was going to make it.. I have had some customers asking for something like this..

My question is, since you obviously will have water interaction with this, is there something I should add to this, or does the M&P base have what is needed? I am going to use the Goats Milk from SFI..

    Body SALT SCRUB

1/4 cup melt and pour soap base

    1/2 teaspoon fo or eo,s

    1/4 cup sweet almond OIL

    few drops of liquid color(optional

    3/4 cup epsom SALTs

melt soap in microwave. Add sweet Almond OIL and fragrance OILs and blend well. Add epsom SALTs and mix well and thoroghly. Pile into containers and tap on table to take out air bubbles and close. to use take two fingers and scoop SCRUB out. apply to dry or moistened skin and rub thoroughly, then rinse off.

Skin feels as soft as a babies bottom.

    TIA:)
