I had the same problem, putting them in the freezer for a couple of minutes worked for me.

Have to work this weekend so I won't have anything in my pot. But have had Lemon Lavender going all week, seems to be the scent of the week. I can't imagine what its like for you guys in those hot temps working with soy, have noticed that the past couple of weeks how different it is to work with, thats our fine Scottish weather for you though

I do cross stitch and can knit and crochet. I love stitching lavender & lace or mirabilia patterns. Its getting to the stage now where DH would love for me to have a hobby that doesn't take up so much room lol.

They look great, especially the buckets, grrrrr really grinds on me that we can't get stuff like that in the UK.

LOL me too Wick'n'Wax, I'd love to go there. I wouldn't follow the google directions though lol I can't swim that far. I love the way they do Christmas.

Hi guys
I'm well impressed with the 3" pillar I've made using the ecosoy pb wax, cold throw is great, hot throw is good but I definitely need to use a different wick. Used a #3/0 square braid wick as suggested on the tips for this wax, but its tunnelling big time, its the only one of the suggested wicks I had. I do have LX wicks but they didn't give any recommendations for them. Any suggestions would be a huge help

I've just started using soy and must say I prefer paraffin lol

Thanks Stella, I'll give that a try I must say though I always do clean my wick pins but I'll try the release stuff, I'm sure I have a can somewhere

Wick'n'wax have you tried www.cybercandy.co.uk you can get american sweeties on there, in fact sweets from all over the world. We tried peanut cups, oreos, loads of stuff. Ooops mouth watering again lol
As to the thermometer, I know exactly how you feel, did the same myself early on a Sunday morning. Went out as soon as some of our shops opened at 10 am and got another one - it was a metal jam making one, not great I prefer the glass ones. Monday went away up the town and bought 3, just to make sure I never got caught without one.

Will be trying out Lemon Lavender and mixing up some blends myself, quite fancy banoffee and a strawberry diaquiri (not together lol)

Had mine arrive this week great for my small jars that I'm testing just now, should have really got some extra wick sustainers for all the extra bits lol. Top of my list when I order again

For the first few years of making candles, I stuck with the paraffin wax, then will I was recovering from an op at the beginning of the year I had so much time on my hands to sit on the pc, I began looking at soy. Having seen so many gorgeous looking candles made with soy, I thought this would be the time to do some reading up on the subject. So I ordered some wax and as soon as I was able to stand long enough to pour, I was away, testing this fo and that fo. For the past few months I've tried to make container candles with the soy but wasn't entirely happy with the results. So after scanning the message boards thought right I'll give the parasoy a try, so I've now got 2 different size jars with a 50/50 blend, and YAY they have a great scent throw and so far the mp is looking good. Can't believe I never tried this before as it was so easy. Fingers crossed they still burn great after the first burn. Will let you know how they go

Just taken delivery today of some new scents, so will definitely be pouring some Vanilla Mint Apricot, its awesome and really need to get my container jars sorted with correct wicks, so will be busy, busy, busy here
