  1. Just got to thinking if for example Peaks cornucopia with so many fragrance notes is realistic? Im sure people have great luck with it and I don't doubt that is smells good, but during a recent order I stuck with very simple fragrances, like cinnamon and lilac. Any thoughts?

  2. As I have come to learn, people love Cinnamon buns scented candles, in my area. Is there a gentle way of nudging them to think about other fragrances? I guess there is probally a marketing strategy, but my customer base is a community senior center, don't get me wrong it's a swinging place with all ages and volunteers, but is it wrong of me to want them to be open to fragrances with unfamiliar names ex. mediterranean fig. Sometimes the name just throws them off I think?

HELP my testers only want one fragrance!!!!

  3. I use eco pure, CS used to carryit but gb 415 replaced it. WSP carries the eco now. I use 1ounce per pound. The current tester is Apples and maple bourbon (thought it was pretty similar to their plain mac app). I also love the feet on the bottom. The smallest rrd I have right now is a 50, I will test that as well.

  4. Well sort of, I dont seem to get the melt pool I used too. Eco wicks are performing so good right now in my square masons. With eco pure a lx 26 would always give a good melt pool, some mushrooming, it seems not anymore. I just want to add that I always order from CS somethimes the 26's have large tabs at the bottom and sometimes they dont. I don't necessarily think this is a wick inconsistency, but no two bags seem to give the same results.

    Lovin eco's

  5. Great thread, I ordered CS cran marm the other day and thought oh jeez should I TRY for the red/cranberry color, it has never been anything less that a headache, red or any shade has never been good for me. I love yellows, golds, and maples etc. I like the idea of shades rather than colors.

I think colorless is the way for me.

  6. Great suggestions!! I think I am in a state of MUST have hot throw so I push the limit of my usage, I totally agree that is not economical, and I also agree that in the past all of my CS fo's have worked with 1 oz pp. My mantra for now needs to be less is more.

  7. After a recent order, recieved an email advising that the wick choices were a little off for votives and had ordered different amounts of wick cups and pins.

Offered advise and wanted to make sure that what was ordered was correct. I call that personalized attention and thought I should share my first but definitely not last experience with this company. :highfive:

  8. I did a little market research at a senior center where I volunteer. The people who participated were probally between 40 and older, and 22 people participated. Anyways I gave free tea lights if they would answer a few questions on a slip of paper and slip it in the box. An overwhelming majority said their favorite scent was Lilac--------this scent never even dawned on me. Im beginning to think scents I like aren't the norm.

I guess what I am wondering is since I consider this a hobby should I really care what other scents are popular? Eventually I might enjoy a craft fair or two but trying to decide on scents to try can really owerwhelm me.
