  1. Thanks for the response. I did not smell a burnt smell when I entered the room. She " the crazy one" only mentioned a wick smell. I use and really like the wick dippers. That buttercream crunch was a strange FO for me though. I only ordered it once.Natalie

  2. Recently I walked into a friends house and OMG could instantly smell WYW buttercream crunch, I was happy because I did not think it was a thrower. Anyways when I mentioned it my testers friend mentioned all that she could smell was wick. She's crazy right? or have some of you smelled wick?

  4. I thought it might be fun since I assume we are all getting rid of winter scents and looking for spring stuff to order, we could brainstorm what might be hot trends for the warmer months. I realize different regions are a factor, all information would be subjective.

I am going to search for the best coconut lime, this spring and summer I want to experiment with light earthy wood scents. Natural scents that kind of go with eco friendly themes, since "green is in".

This thread this could totally bomb but it is 17 degrees outside and I was looking for some indoor fun.

Not looking for a bbw dupe something without the verbena

  6. I have had excellent results in eco pure with the very vanilla, had 2 people tell me it made their whole house smell wonderful. Same with the Spiced Wassil, a couple of guys burn it at their shop and told me they can still smell it the next morning. I keep thinking I want to try a new supplier, but CS seems to always be good, same with Peaks. I also use 8 oz square masons and a 48 hour cure time.

    Lovin CS

  7. This time of year I am eager to try a new place, I think it was about 6 months ago or more that SW temporarily shut down for something, anyways with so many fragrance companies out there I hate to say it but a few negative reviews makes my job on deciding a new company to try a lot easier. I really have wanted to try a Shaw Mudge brand product, but there are plents of others out there. Also I am cracking up about the Alabaster comment.

  8. When I read on the peaks website that Asian Sandlewood was a top seller I got out a couple that have been curing for at least 6 months, I love that fragrance, also burning Red Hot Cinnamon from CS. Does anybody want to share what your sniffin?

p.s hopefully its not what Britney has been sniffin, Im joking, I feel bad for her now, really hope she gets better, and I dont mean to offend anyone.

  9. Since it's Friday, I know we all gave a few going for the weekend. I am sniffin CS Red hot cinnamon, hansel and gretel. JS citrus and teak Peaks lilac and Daystar cuppa chai, which I love more and more all the time. It's quite a mix but oh well you know:wink2: Cant wait to get Very Vanilla in wax.

  10. I know it is a bit early to be feeling burnout, but I think I am tired of square masons and bakery scents. My candle area is clean and ready for the next big poor but I want a gentle nudge I guess. Does anybody want to tell me buck up or suggest a new scent. Later today I will pour CS Wassil and WYW Snowberry. Im a whinny bum today. Somebody smack me ha ha

    Still lovin chandeling

  11. That is. after all the question. I chase scent throw almost everyday, my answer would be to achieve the best melt pool and get it to the best temp from your wick for the particular scent you are using.

Lately I am overly obsessed with scent throw and don't really know why. I continually ask my testers "how was the scent throw?" and if they dont give me a detailed response, I go nuts. HaHa

  12. With the exception of tins I have used 8 ounce jj and square masons and some six ounce jars. Today at dollar store I bought 3 smaller containers, 3 ounce apothacary and a 4 ounce tumbler. Does anyone stick to these smaller containers. Im looking for something different right now I guess.

    Still lovin the square masons
