  1. I just thought I would post some pics of the soap I just made with the supplies my SB sent me.....thank you Anita :D

These are still pretty soft so they're not cleaned up, but I couldnt wait any longer to unmold them LOL These are scented with Backwoods Rosewood Valley, and soaped beautifully! I used Chameleon glitter and polished silver from TKB. Unfortunately the bars have ash :undecided but Ill figure something out LOL

  2. Dried apple wreath or gingerberry wreath from Tennessee candle supplies? I need to place an order with them and was looking at some of their other f.o.'s. I am already getting their vanilla bean noel and winter candy apple, so any help or recommendations would be appreciated. :D

    Im using soy (GB 415)

  3. just plain old cornstarch and water. It works really well, and its cheaper LOL I just make mine once or twice a week when I have to iron, but Id like to give it as a gift since Im doing gift baskets for my family for xmas and I know they wont make it every couple of days.

  4. Forgive me if this is the wrong section to post this, but I figured technically it goes on your skin  sorta LOL

Im making my own laundry starch now, and was going to make it for some friends and family as well.....my question is "What preservative would I use?" and also is there a natural preservative I could use?" and any idea on the shelf life with a preservative? I apologize if this sounds stupid but Im clueless when it comes to preservatives. I can make my own laundry starch every few days but I doubt friends and family will keep up with it.

    Any help is appreciated.

  5. I was thinking about giving these a try. I just figured Id get everyones opinion on which they prefer. I figure there has to be pros and cons for both. So any advice would be appreciated.

Also, is it possible to use GB415 for these or will I have to order another wax? If I have to order another wax, what wax is good for these.....preferably soy.

    Thanks for any help :D

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Thank you! :yay: Was this in a newsletter? I joined for the mailing list but havent recieved any in a while.

  7. I actually just got this yesterday in the mail LOL I had to place an order for an fo and I can never just buy 1 because I get so mad about the shipping.

To me its a citrusy, fruity, and spicy scent......don't know if that makes sense LOL hard to describe but I really like it OOB. I hope to have a chance to pour it either today or tomorrow. Ill let everyone know, but if it smells anything like OOB Ill be keeping it :grin2:

also on a side note, I know everyone was talking about the stock photos.....another odd thing I noticed when I got this order yesterday is on the bottles (and slap me if this isnt new LOL Ive been pretty poor lately so havent ordered in a while) how theres the label with the fo name and the applications for use, well under the fo name it says candlepro.com so I went to it and it takes you to NG's site????? Anyone know anything about this? Are they changing their name?

  8. Since the Flickers' fans are reading, maybe someone can tell me about their Brown Sugar & Fig. I was told by someone that Flickers has the best, but I've been avoiding adding another supplier. For those of you who have tried theirs as well as others, is it really the best?

YES!!!!! I actually ordered it when I put in a order for the cranberry fig also GREAT! (my moms friend was on the hunt for a great fig scent) so I figured Id take my chance since so many say its great, and to my surprise it IS! I figured Id be disappointed like every other brown sugar & fig that Ive tried, but Im sooooo glad I gave it a shot!
