Any other must haves??? Im using GB415, and also feather palm.

I use OT's and had rave reviews from my customers. I use this in CP soap, 415 soy, and feather palm with great results.

My apologies for posting this thread since I know there are several threads on wicks being used for palm, but since Ive been through pages and pages, and the serch brings up OLD threads I figured one more wouldnt hurt LOL. I have mainly used GB 415 soy for my candles, but since I wanted to make tarts I have added feather palm to my inventory. Well of course with 415 soy you can't make pillars/votives I've decided to give pillars/votives a try. I researched several months ago, and it seemed like a lot used CSN's from candlescience. I'm assuming thats because majority bought their wax from them. Seeing how I will be buying my wax else where I didnt know if theres another wick I should be considering or if I should try out the CSN's. Any input/advice for a beginner would be appreciated. Like I said I've never tried pillars/votives so treat me like a child LOL

Haven't tried it, and as to the description I'm not so sure but it might be worth a shot.

Try cutting back to 1 oz. I usually use .75 or 1 oz with that scent and havent had any trouble. I also use 415 so hopefully that will help. I usually only cure for about 3 days......what wicks do you use?

I agree, Connie is GREAT to work with and I havent found a scent I didn't like. I use 100 % soy, and also feather palm.
My favorites though would have to be amber moon, and bay leaf and pepper. Never thought I would like the bay leaf and pepper but its a top seller!

I'll have to give them a try.....thats odd though I just looked at her site the other day and didn't see those. How could I overlook them???
-
I have to agree with both of those.....they cost more than some oils but are worth it

Backwoods Great FO's and great customer service. Connie is great to deal with!

Thats a good starting point, you may even want to start with a little less it depends on how hard you want it to be. Dont forget that you can also add soy wax to your ingredients.

OT has a really good one called "bugg off"

I have always had great luck with the "lick me all over" from NG its one of my best sellers. I use GB 415 though and only use 1 oz per lb but I havent orderd more in the past couple months so maybe they changed their formulation???

I'll have to try them because for the past several years I've been buying from AAA and after the last time and all the problems I had along with lack of communication I will never shop there again!
-
I dont have a sample but BW grammys strawberry jam is FANTASTIC! If you contact connie im sure she'll find the cheapest shipping for you, shes great to work with.
-
Im not really doing orders anymore, except for friends and family but of course candles/ B & B are great (EASY) gifts. I know when I do a search I get a bunch of results but didnt know if there were any more recent MUST HAVES, or an old scent you just can't live without during the holidays.
Thanks again

Don't know if this should go in the fragrance section or CP section, so my apologies in advance if it's the wrong section.
I am looking for a great berry scent to CP. My parents LOVE Peaks Black Raspberry Vanilla but I can only give them that for so long LOL. They seem to go through these fazes. For a while all they would use is Bay leaf and Pepper from BW, now it's Black Raspberry Vanilla from Peaks, and so now I am on the hunt for another great berry scent, or even a great fruit scent.....as long as its not like a fruity gum or candy scent if that makes sense LOL.
Thanks again
