  1. No "good" attorney will contact you by email. There are ways to find out your address to send you a letter. Plus what attorney will sign a letter

Just my opinion, my mom's an attorney...

  2. Can anyone direct me to some links to the US ag info?

Business license I already have one for candles, easy to get one for food.

If it costs a ton of money, do you honestly think that everyone gets a license down here? Not that I'm going that route but I could just bet both the places i seen this weekend didn't.

  3. This weekend I went to the biggest craft show this area has annually. They have about 400 booths maybe more. Anyways there was 2 dog treat booths. Now I've thought about this in the past cause I wanted to do something other than just candles, I'm a bit tired of just candles right now.

The one booth was almost completely sold out of what they had and I got there 3 hours after it started, the other also had a lot sold.

I think they are a cute idea and obviously a big hit. Anyone have any tips or tricks of how to start doing this. Seems pretty easy as just making and baking. Receipes, things to do and not to do, etc.

    Thanks,

    Kristin

  4. I'm pretty sure he got the package, he lives less than 2 hours from me and I've never had a package lost in the mail.

Anyways I responded back to him saying if he wants more sample tarts he would have to pay for shipping w/ tracking and the tarts up front.

He responded offering to send a check, I just responded saying I don't accept checks that he would need to pay through paypal. Then he had the "balls" to ask me to send them out before I received the check in the mail.

  5. Well I just got this email from him. Now remember i sent him an email monday night w/ the receipt pic and told him if he wanted more tarts he would have to pay for the shipping upfront.

HI JUST WANTED TO TOUCH BASE AND SEE IF YOU MAILED OUT THE TARTS YET SO I CAN WATCH FOR THEM STILL NEVER RCIVED THE FIRST ONES SOMEONE HAS THEM MAYBE THEY ARE AT THE POST OFFICE

LET ME KNOW WHATS GOING ON OK

  6. Yes i sent him the receipt for the shipping to prove i shipped it cause he emailed me daily from friday through yesterday saying he never received it.

It just seems odd that this would have gotten lost in the mail. I still haven't heard back from him since I emailed the receipt. Should have put tracking on it.

Yes they were samples, he wanted 12 different ones, which took me a full day to pour cause I didn't have any that he wanted already made.

  7. out of a dozen tarts....Well a few weeks ago I posted how I got a business prop to do wholesale w/ a guy who supposedly runs a craft shop a few hours away.

Well I made up the tarts he wanted shipped them out last wednesday and he hasn't received them. The post office said they'd be there in 2 days so by Saturday would have been the longest wait. Of course I didn't receive a dime from him even though he said he'd pay for shipping and I didn't put tracking on it. Never had a package lost in the mail before and it just seems too weird to me. unless the usps would pull them because they were candles, i didn't tell them that when i shipped it.

Anyways he now wants me to send more, said again he'd pay for shipping, but I'm not sure I even want to waste my time.

  8. As the window to the resolution center was opening I got a quick flash of another website address other than Paypal that appeared in the search bar at the top of the screen.

I kept clicking the link over and over until I could get the full web address. It turns out, the site the fake page is coming from is a CHURCH in Oregon. I did a search for the church, found their street address and contacted the sheriff's dept. in that area about the matter. Since my call wasn't an emergency, they said they will have a deputy call me back, which I'm looking very forward to.

I work for a web hosting company and this happens a lot. Sometimes hackers hack into a site and email from there site so it might not be the church actually doing it. Phising scams are the most dangerous as most people don't realize if it's legit or not and click on the link, enter their info and bam. If the phisers, get 1 out of 10,000 people to click on their email t hey have made their money.

Your actually better off reporting it here http://www.antiphishing.org/ as the police most likely won't do anything because most likely they aren't american's doing it. antiphising.org will contact the web hosting company who will shut the website down immediately.

  9. Had a show this past weekend. I saw a man there selling soy candles. They were 8 oz jars. They were in a jar that looked like a canning jar. I being the noisey person that I am, and wanting to check out my competition. Went up and asked him. How much are these? He tells me they are 100% soy and are $5.00 a piece or 5 for $20.00. I went back to my booth and told my husband. We both are stumped. How could he sell that cheap?? I bettcha they were not 100%soy What does everyone else thinK???

Why would they not be 100% soy. You can get soy cheap depending on where you live and the canning jars are cheap also. I can make an 8oz jelly jar for $2.00 w/ 100% soy, fo, jar(lid comes w/ it), wick and label.

I'll take the $3.00 profit because i'm not sure that i could sell an 8oz candle for more than $5.00 in this area.
