  1. Fresh Coffee from Candle Science is Horrible. It smells so good in the bottle but once poured in and after candles are made it has to be the most disgusting FO ever lol. It made my wife and I sick. I love most of their FO's but that one should be cut lol.
  2. http://ooohlalabath.com/images/travel-candle-zoom.jpg damn they cant even center the wicks!
  3. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to buy 8 oz tins with clear lids.
  4. If I knew how to PM I would. I use to order jars, wicks n such from LS but have since switched. I seriously have no complaints. The only FO I order is ALOE for a FO mix I do.
  5. Has it always been this bad on freight charging? I know eBay sellers have become notorious for this. 13-15 dollars to ship a freaking feather.
  6. Funny where is a good place to locate this wax? Is there a good mottling wax for containers?
  7. additon - if you know the candle what would be your guess on the wax type?
  8. My wife and I drove to Branson, Mo. today and we hit the local TJ Max. I found a couple of Village Candles which I haven't seen in several years. I absolutely love the wax consistency. I'm a little baby when it comes to candle making and I have only tried a few wax types but I would love any insight as to how they achieve the look/feel and incredable cold scent throw. Anyway the wax is very hard and has what appears to be tiny little bubble like color variations which seem to expose many different hues. I guess the question is - does anyone know how they achieve this look and incredible cold scent throw?
  9. K i was under the impression that they were cotton based. Anway YOU ROCK! Thanks for the info on a close WAX SUPPLIER!
  10. Dollar General had some pretty good baskets for $1. I would call first because we went to a couple and there were only a few left.
  11. LOL it's those simple little things that I tend to look over.. Awesome advice. I might check in Springfield MO.
  12. Thanks for all of the advice and information. I NOW understand why you folks treasure and guard it (forums). TY.
  13. I'm in Missouri. My candles were smoking so I switched to a cotton core wick and it seems to be doing better now. I also started heating my jars up. Right when I break down the wax into my melter I put the trays into the oven with wick bars/ wicks and all and set it to about 140. I tried 160 and all of my wicks slid out of the tabs lol. I like the sound of that Farmhouse's 50/50 blend =).
  14. The creamy part in the description of the wax hehe. Plus I noticed the high fragrance yield and it seems to stick pretty good on my containers. Any suggestions on a good blend to try?
