  1. OMG...have yall smelled this one?? I recently made a batch with this FO and I have to say that it smells soooooo good while it is burning and the cold throw is great too. I cannot put my finger on it but I tell my customers that it smells like a man's cologne. I have a friend who burns it while her hubby is working long weekends (pilot) and she said it reminds her of his body spray.

  2. We do our rubby ducky soap a bit different. It'a s 4.5 oz bar, and we sell it as a soap and soap dish set. Of course, we use the little aloha ducks.

We pour our base into a mini galvanized washtub, then pop the duckies in. Once set-up, we simply place in a cello bag and add a header card. I should add that the mini washtubs comes with a clear plastic liner inside.

BTW, for those who are wondering, keiki means kids in Hawaiian.

This is where I learned to do mine, but I don't put any dye in mine. And actually, since doing these, I have found that it's much easier to do aquarium soaps which is pretty much the same concept, but you put it in a square clamshell with white MP on the bottom for the sand.

    Anyway, HTH. :)

What is the purpose of these little fish in a bag? They are cute but what do you do with them? Are they just for looks?

  4. I am doing a show this weekend for $25, it an annual show for the local lodge. I did a show last weekend at an Apple Festival that drew hundreds of people for only $15 and they charged $25 for the whole weekend.

There is a REALLY big show that is advertised for months in advance and goes on for 4 days and they charge $100/day. This draws thousands!!!!!

Although we have to pay for lodging and food as well plus the cost of everything we have made, it works out in the end to turn a profit.
