  1. Thank you very much for your help! The wicks definitely work better! I still need to let them burn awhile yet, then I have to remelt a few and try the full burn with them, but atleast it has given me some direction. the Eco 8 is still giving me a little hang up, so I am going to try to up it one, as well as a full test with the 8, and a full test with the Cd 12. Again thanks!
  2. Hi everyone! After being a lurker for awhile, and reading, and reading, and reading, and reading (shall I go on?) and lots of researching to say the least, and I must say I love this board for the wealth of information! I have started making candles 2 months ago with a kit to see if I liked it. Now I own about a million scents, and have spent a ton of money on different supplies, including buying a turk n surf over the weekend...holy cow is that an awesome item for wax! I have started making 4oz mason jars with the 2 1/2 diameter. I am using EZSoy, and mixing at 1 reddi chip brown dye, and 1oz Fresh brewed coffee per PP, and am having issues wicking. Have tried HTP 62 and the CD 5 testing already, but the candle has about 1/2" hang up and is tunneling slowly. I also have an Eco 4 that has to be tested yet. Can anyone help me in the direction of what wick/s I should try next? Also I will be working on some 4oz tins, and can anyone give me direction on where to start with the wicking for these? I am trying to get them tested here first, to make sure they are good to go, and want to start sending them to testers by December 1, so I can start selling in 2007. Just need some direction from the experts. Oh, and by the way, posting pics in the gallery is a bad thing....I want to learn so many new things, it is hard to sit on my hands and not do everything at once! Nice to meet you all, and thank you for any input!
