  1. I think Peaks "Sugar Plum Berries" smells just like Yankee's Christmas Berries...or very close to it.
  2. I think it might be the FO's that you are using as well, since you seem to be doing everything you are suppose to. I use J223 and get great scent throw and I don't add anything extra to it. There are only a few places that I buy FO's from and stick with those because I know that they are strong oils...and Peak's is one of them. Try a few samples and see for yourself. Some of the stronger scents that I can suggest are Midsummer's Night, Spruce Christmas Tree or Amish Harvest...just to name a few.
  3. I used to be a fan of the 1343 but realized that it holds very little FO, thus the intense sweating with mottles...or when burning any type of candle I made with this wax. In addition, I never got a very good hot throw with it. I switched over to 4045 and found that I could add much more FO...1-1.5 oz. per lb...and not have it sweat it's brains out. You can make all of the same types of candles that you do with the 1343...but...without all of it's drawbacks. I'm not putting 1343 down completely...I'm just telling you my experiences with it. Other's have been very happy with this wax, but I bet if they compared the two...they just might consider switching.
  4. You'll find Spruce Christmas Tree at Peaks. Try a sample first to be sure that you like it...but I think you might end up kicking yourself in the butt for not buying a pound.
  5. Peaks Natures Garden and occassionally from Wholesale Supplies Plus and Tradewinds
  6. Spruce Christmas Tree is a must! Best, most authentic smelling pine scent I've ever smelled. Twigs-n-Berries and Amish Harvest are great ones as well.
  7. I haven't used the Astorlite F in about a year, but I do recall that it is difficult to achieve dark colors with the veggie waxes so...I'd suggest using a normal amount of blue because it's going to come out lighter in this type of wax any way.
  8. Some of my favorites are: Hyacinth Fresh Comfort Mango Papaya Spruce Christmas Tree Mandarin Bamboo Burberry Touch (Men) Storm Watch Clean Cotton Twigs-n-Berries Amish Harvest Mountain Lake Mediterranean Fig (KYC, smells completely different than Peak's, not that Peak's is bad...it's just different) Rainforest Blossom Green Grass Tall Grass Daisy Patch I could go on and on, but I'll stop here.
  9. Very, very nice! I love the colors and the look you have going on using the very small shells...just lovely!
  10. Very nice! I especially like the fruit cup one...love the colors! Good job!
  11. Spruce Christmas Tree all the way! It's the most authentic spruce scent I have smelled yet...it's a must have!
  12. Very realistic...I can almost smell them from here. Good job!
  13. Those are just perfect! Great job!
  14. I agree...OK6228 has great scent throw but I only use it to make tarts which I mix with J223. I used to use 1343, but switched to 4045. It holds more FO and can do everything 1343 does, plus the supplier is much closer to me, so I save a lot on shipping.
  15. Hey...I remember those! They sure are some beauties!
