i used mine and love it. especially the freezer paper thing. ya know it help ya line the mold. i am having a brain fart, cant remember what it is called and am to lazy to walk 10 feet to see. lol but try again after pms has left the building.

i unmolded my soap. and i cant smell the fo. its pomagranet and is strong one. all i smell is oil. what did i do wrong?

thanks carol, i have been on the soap cal all day. the more i play with the amount of oils the harder it is to get the number to be in between the spec on the soap qualities. but we shall see. than ks

its in the oven now. i have to leave it on for 2 hrs and in oven for 24. i think it riced when added fo. its scented pomagranet. i hope it turns out ok. will let you know this time tomorrow. thanks for all your help and if anyone has any simple soap recieps ya want to share will you pm them to me.

ok, dumb me did not write down the reciep and for the life of me i can not get it right. do you go by the soap cal. i have the following butters and oils and no matter how i put them in i can not get the all at the right number. mango butter koklum butter coco butter evening primrose oil soybean oil shea butter caster oil palm kernal thanks for your help

BEER!!!! i have been trying so hard forever to do swirls and today, i did it. now mind you i have had my sisters and mom here all day "helping". and well we had a couple and that has to be it. i did pretty good. guess bud lights stock is about to go up.lol:laugh2: the kids and dh would be so much easier to deal with.lol oh well, tomorrow is back to soberity for me. but tonight its soaping time!!!!!!!!

i did a search and now am realy stessed. what is the difference for sodium stearate and steric acid. are they both for soaps, lotion and candles. is one only for the soaps and lotions. tia

is there susposed to be a certian number you need to be above for the soap qualities like? hardness cleansing conditioning bubbly lather creamy lather iodine ins thanks for you help. most may be up to your personal taste but i do not know what iodine and ins is. thanks

with all the new meds i am on i have a bunch of new skin allergeries. and now cant go near my make up bag. i was looking at the bare mineral line but they are so expensive. i bet i can make this stuff. does anyone know how or what direction to send me in. thanks

had to use 2-3 wicks on a container. i have some cute christmas containers that i got at the dollar tree. i am having trouble wicking them. i cant find my bigger wicks. i have used j50, mistletoe fo and 3 lx16 wicks. it seems fine. but i have never scene a candle in a container that is 3.5 inches wide with 3 wicks. it has been burning for about an hour with no problems. i was going to give these as christmas presents. what do you think. i would hate to give these as presents and burn down someones house. (well, unless it is my outlaws, i mean inlaws.lol) how long should i let it test before i stop. tia
