I use presto pots with no spigots on them. I heat the wax, pour (use a ladel) into a glass pyrex measuring cup (I use the 4 cup ones),(you can use metal pour pots also). Then I mix the fragrance oil and color in.

They're pretty. You friend will be pleased.

I believe you got the marbling down. Nice soaps.

I'm sorry, Tony...I have to agree with you. I only do m & P soap, so I have no idea what you cp/hp people go through. I don't have the patience to wait for curing. My attention span sometimes ain't very long.

Nice colors. It's going to pretty when you cut it.

Thanks, Linda. I thought that it was something like that. Do you find it better than the regular Linen spray base? Thanks.
Hi Holly;
I started with cyclo and it's worked for me, so I haven't tried anything else.

OMG...pumpkin and brown sugar. Where's my fork???

Since you already do CP...you have oils and butters to add already...so yes...buy a plain base and add to it.
I buy the low sweat cp like melt and pour base from Brambleberry's and add shea butter and coconut oil and whatever else at the time. Works for me.

That's a nice looking candle.

cyclo is Cyclomethicone.
I buy it most of time from Lotion Crafter

Hi Holly;
I should have told you that I only use cyclo and f.o. for my room/linen spray.

Thanks leisa2003. I just contacted him. I watched one last night go for $26.00...too steep for me.

I use these,..I think they are easier to clean then the single molds.
Where do I find this mold?
-
That's what I do and it works for me. I turn the temp. down on low. Don't want to scorch the soap base. I still cut it up into chunks to melt though.
-
Does anyone know where to buy these?

Welcome to candle making Jenny. There is a lot of info here. Have you seen the threads at the top of this forum? Newbie links and supplier links.

Hi and welcome.
I use the wick guide at www.candlescience.com to get a feel of where to start with wicking.
Hang in there...you will get it.

Hi Holly;
www.wilton.com for silicone tart/melt molds. They are in Oregon.
Search their site for silicone bakeware.

I believe Let It Shine has a warehouse somewhere in CA. If not they're in Seattle, WA.
I use a lot of their oils in palm wax and bath products.
