I don't think you can go wrong with a log or slab. I have both. Depending on what look I am going for determines which mold I use. Slab...swirls. Log...textured tops or swirl in the pot method. I am partial to Upland molds. They have cut lines on the slab mold. For the log I use a soap cutter with a measurement on the sides so I get the same size bar everytime. If you just starting out I would start with a log..IMO. Good luck:wink2:
These are just a few pictures of my practice setup for my upcoming shows. These are the sides. I couldn't take a pic of the front because there wasn't enough room..LOL
The risers from Dollardays do not need to me taped. They are made of thick cardboard and can hold several jars or pillars. They can be dissasembled. HTH
Do you have any 1312? Usually when I use a FO with Cinnamon in it I have to wick up. I'm sure Harvest Spice has cinnamon in it. Although i might be wrong???
Well, that is hard question. I have both the slab and log. I like them both. I have upland molds. If I want a swirl I use the slab. If I want a marble effect or textured top I use the log. Sorry I'm not much help:)
