OOOooooo, I got mine!
I can't wait to get Victorian Christmas and Candied Yams into wax.
I also got: Moonlight lace (can't wait to try this one)
Moonlight Sonata
Peach slices
Pink Lime
Pink carnation
Coconut
Hawaiian Breeze
Water Blossom Ivy
Keeping my fingers crossed they all do good for me!
I thought the Moonlight Sonata was very nice in wax...one of my Lonestar favorites.

Beautiful as always...Love the yellow, very bright.

I have tried several from Lonestar, because I live pretty close to them. My favorites are, Creamy Vanilla, Fudge Brownie, Leather.
-
I have been using the 415 soy for about 5 years, with about 3-4% beeswax, and pour cool, and have nice looking candles just about every time.
Heatguns are not that expensive and are one of the best tools you can have for candlemaking.

I have been taking a break from the candle and soap making for a bit. I'll send you a pm.

They are all gorgeous as usual, but like the one with the black lines.

Your's is still the best Bunny....

Julie, I know, you are just holding out for the one in 2008 in Lufkin, right? ROFLMAO!
-
What Sharon said, about 3%. I find that it can vary a percent one way or the other, depending on the weather. I put the soy and beeswax in together and melt it, and then proceed as usual...

Very nice...can't wait to see the other color combos.

Beautiful stuff Val....I only dream of making stuff that nice. :smiley2:

Also, Michaels has a Wilton plastic cake decorating tool, that is shaped like a triangle, that once in a while I use to texturize the top of the soap.

Nice looking, the Red Currant is my fav.

Nice job on the soaps Carol. Of course my favorite is the Mardi Gras. It is my best seller, hands down and I love doing a multi color on mine as well. Great work on all of them.
-
Nice color, like the scrubbies....great looking bar of soap.
-
Very bright and beautiful, nice job.

Very pretty, and nice swirls for your first try! But you seem to excel at everything you try. Soaping is so much fun....sometimes a little messy, but fun. Congrats on your first batch.

Beautiful soap GG, as always.

I love the Mardi Gras and it is hands down, my best seller in soap. I also love the Chai Tea in soap. Almost everything I have tried of hers, really sticks.

Very pretty!
EZ Soy wax
in Vegetable Wax & Beeswax Candle Making
Posted
I have used the 415/EZ Soy for quite a while. Personally I have had the best luck with that soy, more than with any other soy. But not everyone will get the same results, and that can be because of many factors. I pour in status jars and have not had a problem with how it burns or throws the scent.
To me it doesn't frost that much, but it IS soy....and soy does have a tendancy to frost. I have found that pouring it cooler, I get it to adhere well and I get good tops. It doesn't necessarily requre additives, but I do use about 3% beeswax in mine...I think it just makes my candles better and helps with the smooth tops. If in doubt, you should just order a sample bag and give it a shot....
