  5. do a search for liabilty insurance there have been alot of threads of this subject. All i know is if you have a auto owners agent in your area you can get a quote form them also the homemade beuity(?completly blanck on the spelling) network I think. They mention it alot in the buisness forum

  7. I've made some that were almost completly bubble free. I didn't like them. I've also found that most people like some bubbles.
  8. And that's the way it should be done. Not putting a wick in with the jelly beans.
  9. Ok I was in the grocery store this afternoon and they had a gel candle with jelly beans in them. Now I can't say for sure but I'm pretty positive they were real jelly bean. I so bad wanted to dig one out and see but I restrained myself and did not. How do you dare put real jelly beans in a candle? The only way I could console myself was that the wick didn't look real big. So hopefully it is under wicked so it won't melt the sides which I forgot to mention the jelly beans were only around the sides not all the way through. Anyway thought it was interesting and would post about it. I semlled great just like jelly beans. One of the ones I looked at the wick was way off. Isn't it funny before I started making candles I would have thought it was the neatest thing ever and now I just critique them.
  10. I have seen them in alot of places. Outdoors stores as someone else mentioned. Cabelas. The big hardware stores Lowes, Homedepot, Menards. I think this time of the year the outdoor stores is where your going to find them.
  11. Well I finally bought a warmer (cheap one from K-mart) and answered my own question. The first jar I put on was a 6oz tureen. Worked very well. It melted and the throw is great in a little over an hour. The second one I tryed was a 9oz straight sided jar. Did not work. Melted about half way up and that was it. So obviously my conclusion so far is the short wide jars work and the higher ones don't. So now a new question or thought. I wonder how well the warmers with the sides on them would work. I haven't seen one in the stores yet. have not look to hard. Does the ceramic hold the heat in? Would it melt from the bottom and the sides so the taller jars would work?
  12. How rude! I would have confronted her and told her that if she had so little confidence in herself and her products that she had to lie and about yours she shouldn't be selling.
  13. Their $4.25 at Levinegifts.com
  14. I seen an add on the board here somewhere they also have them at Levine's. I'ts supposed to snuff the candle with no smoke and trim it at the same time.
  15. Has anyone tryed the candle quencher? Is it all it says it is or just junk? I was also wondering if it would work with zinc core. Would it pull the zinc out?

  17. Does anyone order direct form the glass companys? Anchor Libbey Indian Glass How difficult is it? I know their minimums are probly pretty high. Would the price difference per jar be worth it?

  20. Hey Gelglow I'm glad you posted. I get most of my supplies from you and I was seriously thinking about emailing you also. Her lack of knowledge was really worring me and giving you a bad rep. in my opinion.
  21. That seems like a really good price. Is that with the lid? Can you get a price list for all products or just what you want and how's their shipping charges?
