  10. I want to make a hole in the jar to run a plug thru for a silicone candle light. I'm sure you've seen them. You add rosehips, pine cones ect and add a homespun cloth around the top of the jar. Makes it really prim looking. Some body in the family wants one. I callled AC Moore and they said you uese a diamond cut drill bit and keep it lubricated as you cut. LIsa

  18. Hi, I have been off work for almost a year now from a work related injury. I found this site and decided to try my hand at candles. I have posted several picture of my candles and have been getting favorable opinions. You all have been so helpful, I could not have done it without you :highfive: . Making candles has been very theraputic, it has saved my sanity (my husband would argue that) I need to know how to go about selling them now. All these candles and no place to go. What is the best way to go?? ... EBay??
  19. I actually had the jars already poured, and turned them upside down, painted the stuff on, let it dry turned it over, and touch up near the rim. Last night i painted some empy jars, gonna pour today. Thanks for looking and the feedback
  20. Hi, I am finally comfortable with making container candles. I'd like to try making pillars. There seems to be many of you making them, and doing a great job. Are they difficult to make. Do they require a different typ of wax? ( can soy be used ) Are they a better seller than containers? thanks...:smiley2:
