I was Adams first customer and I didnt even think twice about switching my site over to his hosting service. I knew it was a risk because there was no one I could ask about how his services were. But through out the emails that we passed back and forth I could tell that he was going to be very helpful and that I would be happy with his services. I didnt even know his age until about 3 weeks after I signed up. His age never bothered me. I was actually happy to see someone younger doing something positive with his life! I will be with graceful hosting as long as it is available! (and I am sure that will be a long time) * I also got a very nice Christmas card from him! Thanks Adam for everything that you do for me!!!!!

I am having so much trouble wicking my silicone pillars. Any advice would be great. I cannot seem to get it centered. TIA

Sliverofwax- What am I talking about? Are you serious? I said that he did good work and would have templates that werent country. Maybe you should read all the post before you ask me that. I know that you can choose what you want your site to be designed with. I just meant that he could suggest something that she was looking for. Like he did with me. I know that the host has nothing to do with your design.

I am currently using http://www.gracefulhosting.com/cart/ it has been great....he works with me on the weekends and answers all my emails very quick. I tried using WAHM and DIY but I couldnt figure it out. Take a look at his site and you can see his other customers pages and see that you dont have to have a country look. HTH

I order mine from flexiblemolds and she wont seem to answer my emails when I have asked her where she gets hers like she displays in her pictures...must be a big secret LOL

Can anyone tell me the simple steps to make a pillar look more grubby as far as adding cinnamon or other materials to make it lumpy? What is involved in doing this?

I took that computer back to Sams yesterday and I will never own another computer with Vista again. I didnt need another computer just wanted to have a new update one! LOL Like my husband told me yesterday "if it aint broke dont fix it" so I am back to using my original computer and using my new printer and the labels are up and running fine!!!! Thanks

Sorry if this is long.... I bought a new computer this weekend and It has windows vista. I also bought Microsoft Home and Student 2007. I needed Microsoft word and all those type of programs for my candle stuff. Anyways, So now I am trying to learn a whole new version of WORD. I had 2003 version on my old computer. I use word templates from the site that I buy my labels from (brownkraftlabels.com) her templates only support 97-2003 WORD. Does Anyone know how to make these templates work in WORD 2007? Just wondeirng if anyone has had this issue. I make all my own labels so of course I need to print with those templates. When I try to print them it gives me error code on my printer. It will print everything but her templates. Hope I explained this clear enough. I stil have my software for the WORD 2003 but it says its for WindowsXP (my older computer) Does anyone know if I can install this on Windows Vista? TIA

Adam, Congrats! Wow I never knew your age or anything until yesterday evening when I was looking at your candle site. You are doing very good for yourself, not only with candles but with your hosting site also...I cannot brag on you enough about how much help you have been with my website. (and he charges good prices to, along with top notch customer service)! I think the article was really good. I remember how excited I was when I had a write up in the newspaper about our candle company! Be happy and keep it as a reminder of all that you have accomplished!!! (now get back to working on my site!!!! ) Just kidding!!!!!!

After many nights of headache and pounding my head against the wall trying to figure out how to add a shopping cart...etc. I have decided to take my domain name and start up a web site with diyestores.com since they offer the shopping cart with the yearly fee....Now I have toi figure out how to use the same domain name and emails...hope it isnt to hard. LOL For those of you that use the DIY site...is the set up wizard pretty easy...they seem to explain it like it is very easy to start...TIA

That is so true. I think I will do better with my local customers and continue to deliver to them for free...but just wanted to make a little more money from web sales...dont we all? LOL:D

Its not that I cant handle my site...its just that I dont know how to figure in shipping ...I have run my site for a year now and I am doing great...I just wanted to add a shopping cart...I will figure it out Im sure. I can see why someone would be cautious about it though. Its not something I want to do. I want to learn some of this before I add the shopping cart. Wouldnt it be nice if someone could do it for you...LOL sudsnwicks...I may do like you are doing and just charge with the flate rate box...not sure yet! LOL Thanks

I have been trying to decide weither to use paypal to accept CC or to choose a merchant account (example Propay). Just needing some opinions before I set up my site for orders...TIA Someone in another post had recemmended I use Mals for the shopping cart so now I need to know the best way to accept CC. Thanks

I was wondering if anyone figures up there shipping cost after a website order is placed? I have seen some site that say you will recieve a seperate invoice with shipping cost...as far as paypal goes then if doing this you would lost a percentage of the amount twice right? Once for the payment and then once for the payment of shipping. My husband seems to think that if I post it that way then I may lose customers due to the fact that they wont want to pay twice. Also does anyone use mals e-commerce? I just signed up for it but I am having some trouble understanding which option to use for shipping.

Does the premium (business) account limit you to transactions...(sales) per month?

Silly me I just found that out today that the customer doesnt have to have an account with paypal. DO I have to have a premium account with paypal for that? DOes there site tell what fees they take? I have the fre account with them but never really use it much.

I just found out that if she wants it with insurance and for it to be trackable it will be $28...OMG can you imagine paying that for a $4 item. Shes already sent payment for the $4 non trackable shipping so I am waiting to see if she wants to change the shipping...

No the $300 doesnt include the transaction fees. He said that I will have to have a merchant account and when someone checks out to pay they will be transferred to another site. He spoke very highly about using paypal to accept CC. I always thought that the buyer had to be signed up with paypal to pay me with CC on paypal but he said that isnt true. He said they have cart setup with that package to use paypal for payment. Do you think that setting up a cart and using paypal to accept all payments is ok and wont scare anyone away? And that would keep me from getting another type of merchant account? Sorry Im just new to all of this. TIA
