  1. About us page shows : "Sweet Cupcake is based in Alabama and now offers hand-poured soy candles, bath & body products, as well as over 3,000 additional products including Home Decor and Collectibles. We proudly serve over 1,000 Consultants worldwide."

And the home page shows: "Update: We now have over 3,500 Consultants Nationwide!"

Here is an actual consultants page she was advertising on craigslists: http://www.sweetcupcakecandles.com/Juliekeegan/

I feel sorry for the people that get caught in these sort of deals. If they would have read over the pages they would have seen that nothing adds up just right.

PM is Personal Message...That's OK...I misunderstood. I thought you just wanted to change the color

Thank you for trying to help. Do you know how to get a specific font if you don't have it in your computer. I found a font called Clarissa and it's perfect, now to create the perfect add ons.

  3. Is this what you want?

That's just my label, I am trying to redo a logo sort of based off of the flower and name shown. But, the way the logo shows up on my labels I am rethinking that flower. I am considering purchasing a logo (having it made for me, different design , etc.). By the way I don't know how or what PM is?

  4. IMO, I would let them know that you do have a minimum and they need to meet that minimum to place the order. In a nice manner of course. I went to your wholesale page and it states it right there. If I go to order wholesale from somewhere I always abide by the minimums, I would never order below.

  5. I had posted on this subject before, but I am stuck again and well I thought I had come up with my own label/logo design, but when I printed a label out and went to put it on my lipbalm it isn't very eyecatching. I liked the basic feel of it, but none of my family members liked it. I was looking for it to have a natural feel, some type of flower (lily, plumeria, or even a bamboo, chinese leave type look) and maybe a partial cursive type letterring, which for some reason it changed when I switched it to a different program.

I sell cosmetics and am going to add bath and body products to my line. My family thinks it needs some type of color added also, but I am using word to do this so I'm not sure how to add color to my picture. (I'm picky on colors and like to stay with a natural look, browns, tans, greens, maybe light pastels, not sure.)

Can anyone give me advice on adding color or other elements to my look?

I can't load my logo/label for some reason so here is the temporary link to my label:

  6. Well I just received my order today from BCN and am so excited. First of all, I ordered the lotion base sample and the Honey Coco Mango fragrance oil and made mini 1 oz. lotions, There lotion feels really good. Then I got the lip balm base, but forgot to order the pipettes to fill them so that is disappointing.

But, with my order BCN gave me some candle fragrance oil samples of Honeysuckle, Caramel Apple, and Carnation. Well I don't make candles yet, but I guess I will have to learn how now that I have fragrances for them. Just thought I'd share my happiness, this is my first lotion and lip balm experience so I am so excited and can't wait to make my lip balms.

  7. I placed an order from BCN lip balm base and now have it coming in today. So a quick question, when you melt the lip balm (this base or any other recipe) do you let it harden up to see how it will come out and then remelt it to put it in the tubes. I was reading on the board that some people have grainy lip balm problems, so I don't want to fill the tubes and it come out grainy, that would be too hard to get back out to remelt. Any suggestions?

  8. I have a dilema and cannot make up my mind and was wondering if anyone could help. I have been working on selling mineral cosmetics and already have the products ready. My problem is that I don't use Bismuth Oxychloride in my products and am wondering if this is making a difference in them.

I should love my products, but I am so stuck on Bare Minerals that I'm not sure if the reason is because they use the Bismuth in theres to have that luster finish whereas mine are more matte. Does anyone have opinions on Bismuth? Or would anyone know if I was to add this to my products how much would I add or would it corrupt my products in any way? Thanks.
