  1. If you could only order fragrance oil from 3 suppliers, who would they be. It would be nice if everyone could use this as advice instead of google or some other search engine. I have only ordered from one supplier which has been Nature's Garden. So for now that could be my only pick.

  2. I use MP123, and to be honest IMO it is by far the best for containers. Some fragrances must cure a little longer to have a great cold throw, and some do not. As far as labeling, I label as high quality candle. If the customer asks what they are made of, I do not hesitate to tell them, and also the reason why I think it is a better wax.

  3. I've not been selling candles for long, so I really cannot relate, but I think if you are doing so well, maybe you could hire someone for a few hours a week. Or maybe try something new. Seems a new challenge would test your skills, and maybe you'll embark on something even better  . Giving you back the interest you once had.

  4. I liked those Dodecagon jars. :)

The only 2 issues I had with those was paying the shipping (I have a jar fairy now that brings me jars REALLY cheap) and the labels not sticking right. They have 12 sides so you really need to smooth those labels down to stick right.

    What were you using before?

Just steer away from the those 97 cent Walmart square Victorian apothecaries. I was using them for a while. Had SO many issues. Then one of my biggest wholesale accounts in California told me one of his customers had the jar literally explode. He even sent a picture. That was the final straw. Now I won't even burn one for myself.

It could have been that the person let it burn too long, and the wick shifted to one side making it too hot resulting in the explosion. I gave my daughter a jj candle, and the wick shifted, got the side of the jar too hot, and it broke. I couldn't believe it. It does happen though

  5. Maybe tomatoes and pasta.....oh wait a minute....that would be a food receipe......but doesn't that sound good? Citrus and basil sounds like lemon (yellow) and basil (green)......so put them together and you have yellow and since it is an herb, I would use sage....but then of course someone would ask for you to do it in pink......

    :D HOW FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

  6. :) I use Wal Marts brand of plastic wrap, pull out about two feet, then cut however wide I need it. After I wrap the tarts, I zap it with the heat gun. I didn't know if this certain wrap would work, but so far so good. I use MP145 for my tarts. Hope this helped.
