  1. I always love looking at your pics. #3 is also my fav too! I'm with you-- doing photo shoots outdoors with natural light is the best. I am envious that you have access to a beach! I have to drive for about 4 hrs to the nearest beach but then it would be 20 degrees there! LOL

All your pics are lovely. Looks like you had some fun. BTW-- I like the idea of a photo shoot at a Cabana-- maybe get a Cabana boy to hold the candle. LOL

lol...now all I need to do is to find a cute cabana boy!

  2. I think your products and your website are awesome, but I don't think any of those photos do them justice. Hot colors, like orange, would look great next to the blue ocean. I'd love to see a pic of your candle in the wet sand with the surf coming in around it, maybe a shell or two. I'd love to see one on top of a fence post with a polo game in the background. Also, at a pool cabana, maybe at night...

lol...they sound like great ideas! I wanted to hit more locations but was on a limited time frame.Maybe next day off I will try to get some beach shots. Plus I want to borrow a friends camera which is a million times better then my point and shoot.

  3. I normally get a full melt poor at about two hours...You think I am still wicking to high? It is a 3" jar...do you usually wait a full three hours? It only melts down about 1/2 or so at 4 hours...and is that a zinc wick you are suggesting? I can't use zinc wicks...my customers would wig out!

Why would your customers wig out? I use a para/soy mix with 464 also and I very rarely get a full melt pool on the first burn, it will usually kick in on the 2nd burn. I would actually be a little concerned if a 3" container was getting a full melt pool at 2 hours. Remember that it will be twice as hot at the second half of the burn and it should clear any hang up you might have. I would think that a CD 12 should be fine for that 65/35 ratio.

  4. Darn it!!!!!! And the dope I am I ordered another 16 oz. (because I was just so sure it was going to be great and wanted to take advantage of their 'shipping sale').....Oh well, I think I'll use it in other things, but boy, it does smell soooo good. Rats. Thanks for the feedback.

Don't give up yet, how about in HP instead? I have never soaped it but it might be fine in HP.

  5. Thanks everyone, nice to hear good things after so many issues...lol

@SingleYellowRose...thank you, to be honest those are real easy to make and get at a local office supply. I believe the are 3M 3100-A or Avery 5160. They turn upwards on the ends because of the oval shape of the portion cup but it really doesn't affect the look at all. HTH :smiley2:

  6. Very nice job! It's looks fantastic!

Yes I feel like this wholesale order I'm doing now is never ending too! I had to wait for supplies b/c of the holiday, then I didn't have enough FO, then I had to order molds....it was like if anything could go wrong, it did. LOL Tomorrow is a week since the order was placed and I'm anxious to get the order finished and to the shop. It's been stressful.

Lol...I don't feel so bad now...hope it gets done with no more issues.
