I have to second the Purple Cow AH/RE for a good sweet grape!

I agree with KrazeKelly

Oh no...that is a lot of money*faint* definitely need clarification as to what they are considering a cosmetic.

Thanks Jenna, I put the TD in the lye water then added to the soap, I will give your suggestions a try on my next batch of CP.

Thanks everyone, good to know that this happens on occasion. As long as it is still good soap I will just keep it for the family. I think I will pass on those two scents next time...lol

Hey everyone, I have to admit that I'm not very good at CP soap which is why I usually stick with HP. I decided to make a batch of CP yesterday using CS Beach Linen mixed with CS Clean Cotton. Here are the ingredients....
Olive Oil
Coconut Oil
Palm Oil
Sunflower Oil
Shea Butter
Castor Oil
Titanium Dioxide
NG...color
....put in wood mold and covered with towels and this is what I ended up with this morning. A huge tectonic fault line and a crackled/mottled inside Any thoughts

Love the color and glow, pretty.

Thanks Ravens, that is exactly what I was looking for. I saw the soap online and thought it was so adorable.

Good luck, hope you get lots of orders, don't forget to take pics!

From the description it has vanilla in it, that tends to turn soap tan or brown depending how much vanilla is in it.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these? I saw some really adorable soaps that looked just like robins eggs and I want to try and make them. I did a search but didnt come up with much, thanks for any help

I love Jo Malone candles, wish I could afford them, there is no way her candles are all soy, tops are way to smooth!

Thanks everyone for your help, I'm definitely going to leave the eo's outta the soap!
-
Thanks lsg, I read that the ph needs to be around 7 and then I also read that if you HP the soap the ph is lower then CP, is this correct? What is an acv rinse?

Oh my...that is a very sad story, poor dog. Some friends that have used my soaps asked if I had anything for dogs, I have been thinking about making a doggie soap for awhile now and decided to give it a try but after reading all the conflicting information maybe I will do like you suggested and just leave the eo/fo out of the equation. Thanks for your insight PMM

I have been wanting to make a doggie soap for a while now but I keep getting conflicting information when I research the internet regarding EO's. Some say they are safe and fine to use on your dog and some say they would never use EO's in any products that come in contact with dogs/animals. Which is correct or is both correct? :undecided
So far this is what I'm thinking of using in my soap...
Coconut Oil
Palm oil/or maybe Lard
Neem oil
Castor Oil
Olive Oil
EO/FO
Oatmeal

Amore Dolce
Lemon Blossom
Sultry Angel
