  1. Ok, I'm not trying to stir anything up and this may have already been posted on here but I wanted to share how all negative and false marketing CAN and does affect other companies. :undecided http://www.alohabay.com/people/why_no_soy_candles.html
  2. Hi everyone, just thought I would share some HP soaps for my next show. Be My Clementine, Honey Lavender, Lemon Sorbet, Moonlight Sonata, Cranberry Banana and Cervesa De Lima (beer soap). Thanks for looking :smiley2:
  3. lol...now all I need to do is to find a cute cabana boy!
  4. I would stay within that range, are there any instructions on the vendors site? This is a really soft wax, are you mixing it with another was or just using it straight up? I have tried mixing it with soy and want to try mixing it with apricot wax when I get around to getting some.
  5. lol...they sound like great ideas! I wanted to hit more locations but was on a limited time frame.Maybe next day off I will try to get some beach shots. Plus I want to borrow a friends camera which is a million times better then my point and shoot.
  6. I thought CC was also suppose to have some new oils
  7. @Stella...lol, whenever your in town let me know. @Beth...lol, that is freakin cold! Here are a few more...some without the candles.
  8. Thanks everyone, #3 will go on the site but the others were just for fun.
  9. I wanted to get some out door photos for the website so I packed up some candles and headed to Palm Beach, thought I would share. Thanks for looking :smiley2:
  10. Why would your customers wig out? I use a para/soy mix with 464 also and I very rarely get a full melt pool on the first burn, it will usually kick in on the 2nd burn. I would actually be a little concerned if a 3" container was getting a full melt pool at 2 hours. Remember that it will be twice as hot at the second half of the burn and it should clear any hang up you might have. I would think that a CD 12 should be fine for that 65/35 ratio.
  11. oh, forgot to add, why are you trying to get a full melt pool after 2 hours anyway?
  12. Try a 51z wick with that combo and see how that does.
  13. Don't give up yet, how about in HP instead? I have never soaped it but it might be fine in HP.
  14. Thanks everyone, nice to hear good things after so many issues...lol @SingleYellowRose...thank you, to be honest those are real easy to make and get at a local office supply. I believe the are 3M 3100-A or Avery 5160. They turn upwards on the ends because of the oval shape of the portion cup but it really doesn't affect the look at all. HTH :smiley2:
  15. Lol...I don't feel so bad now...hope it gets done with no more issues.
  16. Phew, I don't know why but this order seemed like it would never end. Its not a big order but I kept making mistakes and having to re-do stuff...:undecided Has this ever happened to anyone? Well after all the chaos just thought I would share...lol
  17. Another vote for The Candle source Cinnamon & Sandalwood. Its one of my favorites!
  18. I want my house back, I need a dedicated work space! santa cool
