I haven't ever ordered from them before, but I want to try a few oils they have. I know some of these have already been reviewed, but it doesn't hurt to ask for a second opinion, right? So, if anyone has any input on these, or any other NG must haves, or must NOT haves, I would love to hear your opinions. I'd especially love input on their performance in soy/parasoy and/or their lasting power in tarts. Thanks!

Yacht Club... Fabulous fragrance. I think it will make it to my best seller list this year![/quote]
I have only tried a few from your list. But I can vouch for the very good customer service of NG. Very professional, well packed shipments, nice products and quick shipping. A+++ in my book! HTH

I tell my customers NOT to add water with the straight oil, due to the fact as stated above, the water does evaporate and the oil does splatter. I recommend to my customers to use a melt and add some refresher oil to the melted wax as the scent lessens or disappears.
And I really cannot see where water would make the fragrance oil not ignite, as it heats with the oil...and usually oil and water do not mix....and you don't put water on an oil fire......

Pm'd you.

Very nice packaging as well.

I haven't tried Peaks yet but if you have any success with it let me know. I'll have to add that one to my next Peaks order and give it a try.
Just an FYI: I received my Peaks order and their Downy Fresh fragrance. WOW! It definitely throws. I have changed my source for this oil!!

Thanks so much for the tips! I really appreciate them. I cannot say how disappointed I am in the ICS scent!

I'll keep ya posted.

Thanks for the reply. I have a lot for use in wickless and melts, now! LOL
I am going to try to use the Peak fragrance. Seems to have good reviews. Ever tried it?

I have found that Twitter was pretty much useless as far as getting biz.
MySpace has not been productive...but good for networking.
Facebook has brought a few orders. My website brings in the most.

Is anyone or has anyone experienced any problems with hot throw of ICS April Fresh Downey. (I use it in 4794.)
TIA.

Just an FYI, I would not order it from SpiritCrafts if you want it quick. Long story......

Hello,My name is Iryna, I am 12 years old.I have been on your website a couple time and was wondering...At my young age i believe that natural products are the best at this time..I have a youtube account and will have a 100 subscribers contest. I would love to try out some of your product and would advertise your company if i find the products really amazing and other people should purchase them.As for my contest i am hoping you would like or can sponsor me. My youtube link is - ************ . Your help will be much appreciated.Thank you for your time and hope to hear back from you soon! Iryna

I have used water soluble paper with soap. However, I bought it in a coop and don't remember from where it came. The only problem I found was the ink running--if the printer ink is prone to do that. I have since purchased a laser printer, but have not retried the technique. That is actually on my list to do this year.....with embeds.

I have to also commend NG. I am impressed with their oils, their customer service, their shipping time and cost, and their packaging. The pricing of their oils is impressive also. I use paraffin and gel, and some palm waxes. As with any supplier, there are always fragrances I do not care for. However, I can say I have liked most of the fragrances I have purchased from them. I have never had a problem with the bottles leaking. NG has my vote and business!

For many years I used Lilac from Lebermuth. However, I recently tried the Lilac from TN Candle Supplies and found it was much better. I have a male customer who buys only Lilac....and he liked the Lebermuth scent, but loved the one from TN. HTH

I can say that the 7 oz. wickless and the scalloped melts I make have equaled or outsold the votives.
A selling point I use it that the melts can be used with the Scentsy warmers.

Holy Smokes!!! Looks like 2010 is not much better than 2009! I had a customer ask me to make a candle in two pieces (like tall pillars) each that would be put together to burn as one. However, each candle was to have its own wick. In order for the flame to be as one when the candles were put together, the wick had to be positioned at the very edge of each candle. Talk about unsafe! After researching this, I found a patent pending on a candle of this sort. SCARY!!!!!

But not me anymore.
DITTO!

I don't know how that would have happened. Sounds to me that messages received and relayed from MM are as inconsistent as their website. I am in the exact same boat as most others on here...and feel the same way....

Doglover, where on his website does he state that his oils are closeouts and once they are gone, they are gone? That was nice of him to tell you that, but he sure did dupe the rest of us into thinking the oils were his regular line like any other supplier and that we'd be able to get them again.
There are several suppliers who do offer closeout oils and that is fine because they are upfront about them and it is up to us to decide whether to purchase them or not. I for one would rather have a consistent product than buy a whole bunch of closeout, possibly inferior oils, and waste alot of money on them. I spend too much time and money on testing to only be able to get one bottle of a FO before it disappears from his website.
No need to be rude. I feel the same as most people who have posted.

I must say I was taken aback when he called me and went on about his ex wife...and another supplier currently in business. Not at all professional. Anyone with any business sense knows you don't ream another business or person...and you don't discuss your personal life.
However, he did mention that the oils were closeouts, one of a kinds. I did stock up on one fragrance that performed well in my wax and I really liked the fragrance. However, I must say that sadly the others I tried were of poor quality.

I tried them, and there were a few that I would love to keep permenant in my line, hopefully I can find a good alternative to them from one of my other suppliers, if not I will drop them. But I refuse to be forced to spend that much just to get a few oils from them, and this sort of business practice makes me turn tale and run for the hills!!!!
So you are not aware that the oils that they have are not going to be consistent? I was told (by Dan) that the oils they buy are from closeouts, etc. And that "when they are gone, they're gone!"

I sell firestartes at shows. They are unscented, 14 to a bag for $3.50 and they fly off the shelf. However, sometimes there is a fragrance as I use left over and scrap wax. IMHO, I don't see what the point is to fragrance firestarters when the scent is going to go up the chimney!

Yep I agree, being Christian has nothing to do with anything. I have seen & heard many 'Christians' with the foulest mouths, ill manners and just down right obnoxious.
Also, MANY companies have the rule that once you order, nothing gets added in. I personally don't expect a company to stop the procedures they have in place to accomodate me when I forget something. Very unrealistic expectations!!
Ditto!
did I mess up or is it supposed to do this???

In my experience, when the wax gets pretty warm or even hot, the color is affected--differing in degrees by color.
