I order some FO from Indiana Candle Supply and forgot to add the free Sniffie to my cart. Do you think they will throw one in anyway? Oh well, this is what I ordered...
Pink Sugar Type
Waterfall Mist
Blackberry Sage
Brown Sugar Pecan
Cinn. Buns
Cukes & Melons
Sea Blossom
Turtle Brownies
Very Sexy for her
What do you think. I'll be very surprised if I like the Pink Sugar. It doesn't really sound like my kind of scent but I know it is popular and, from reseaching the board, it sounds like ICS has the best.

What is their addy?

Don't worry Cindy. The Mods will move it for you when they see it. Your canes look great by the way.

It figures . I just make candles too.

I just subscibed to this. Just wanted to know if I wasted my money. (you would think I would ask this BEFORE I gave them my money :embarasse )

The last update was 88 people already signed up. They can only accommodate 150 so it will probably fill up fast!!! This will be my first convention ever and I can't wait

Thanks for the info. I have never seen anyone post on them so I wandered if they were new or just no good.
-
Just ran across this site. Has anyone ever used them before?
-
I know this is a LONG shot but does anyone make a dupe for Avon's Casbah. they discontinued it a few years ago and it is my Mom's favorite.

I'm using J223 for my containers. I've never tried the zinc for my pillars and I haven't made very many but LX wicks worked good for me. Scented has some amazing pillars in the gallery. She could give you better advice on those.

Crafty1 & scented are WAY more qualified than I am to answer this question but I'm having the most luck with the Zinc 51-32-18 in my 3" dia. jars.

Arrghhhh!!! You got me all excited and then I find out they're out of stock! I'll have to call and see when it'll be back in. :smiley2:
I think they are actually closing...

I'm sorry, I need to go back to bed I guess. Somehow I got CD out of cotton core :rolleyes2 and I've never used them:confused: .
I know alot of people are against them but so far I like zinc the best.
Also, I use this conversion chart if anyone is interested

what is the diameter of your container?
ETA: sorry posted late. If I calculated right, that's about 1/2oz. of FO. The wicking charts I use suggest a CD10 for that diameter.

BCN is now the exclusive distributor for WYW. I think the only way you can order from them directly anymore is if you live in Canada.
-
Damn it.. It's just tarts :tiptoe:
JK...they look great!
-
Bitter Creek North has them..not sure about south.

ETA: This link will take you to the list of WYW fragrances they carry but you have to scroll to the end of the page and click on the shopping cart before you can buy them.

I pour my testers without the wick then, once they set up, I poke a hole with a skewer. I place the wick I want in and either pour more wax in or melt the top with a heat gun and let it re-set. After that you can just pull the wicks with pliers and replace with a new one.

I haven't tried these oils yet but I was wondering if they would make a better burning candle because the amount of FO needed is so low?
-
I have the 2.25 tart molds from BC and they're perfect.
-
I bought Lovespell from NG and all I can smell are Mandarin oranges OOB. Is this what it is supposed to smell like?
-
If you are teaching casting methods, I'm assuming you will want to use a two-piece mold. The link below is a great supplier for molds and has a wide variety to choose from.

I got the multi-wick setter for Christmas (love it!) and just measured the bottom. It looks like the smallest jar opening it will fit is 2 3/4". I'm not sure how wide that jar is but I hope that helps.
Dang it...ICS

I wish I could e-mail them but they're too fast (not complaining). I ordered 10:30 Thursday night and they shipped my order by 1:00 the next day.:highfive: I hope they add it but I'm not expecting it. I will definately remember it next time.:embarasse
